The skullcap is a round masculine light cap, received the name from the Turkic word tbebe / tübe, meaning the crown of the head or the top of the mountain. Ethnic headdress in Central Asia (the territory of modern Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan), in the Russian Volga and the Urals (Bashkortostan and Tatarstan), as well as in the Crimea.
