2016

  • 15.05 - FILM.UA Group closed a deal on The Stolen Princess distribution in Poland. The rights are acquired by Polish media group Polsat during the Marché du Film.
  • 16.05 - FILM.UA Group has signed a contract with Amazon on The Sniffer Season 1distribution to Amazon Premium subscribers in the territories of USA and Canada. In the end of March full season of the successful series with English subtitles was added into Amazon Video library.
  • 13.05 - FILM.UA Group has signed a contract on The Stolen Princess all rights distribution to ProFilms, Bulgaria and Cinema 24, Iran.
  • 11.05 - FILM.UA Distribution presents its headliners for the market – feature films The Stronghold and The Stolen Princess– along with other theatrical films of FILM.UA Group feature catalogue 2016.
  • 20.04 - Three international film and design festivals have honored the winners in April 2016. Battle for Sevastopol is a proud owner of four awards. 
  • 14.04 - Battle for Sevastopol and season 2 of The Sniffer won intermedia-globe GOLD at WorldMediaFestival. Series will compete in Entertainment: Mini-Series and Entertainment: Continuing Series & Serial Programmes categories respectively. The Awards Ceremony will be held May 11 in Hamburg, Germany. 
  • 4.04 - FILM.UA Group (Ukraine) and AVK Production (Russia) have cooperated on a Russian-Ukrainian adaptation of the popular Catalonian TV drama format “The Red Band Society” (“Polseres vermelles”), a heart-warming teenage medical drama. Russian language adaptation, known locally as “The Red Bracelets”, is premiering on Channel One (Russia) and STB channel (Ukraine) in spring 2016.
  • 31.03 - At MIPTV (stand R7.L12), FILM.UA Group presents its newest drama series The Red Queen, which has just been released in Ukraine and Russia to great success and critical acclaim
  • 28.03 - The group plans to produce content filmed with the help of VR360 in various genres and themes, including fiction and documentary web series, gaming , sports, fashion, and music content. This technology is also suitable for creating extreme videos because VR360 does not confine the viewer to the frame; just like the reality, it allows them to concentrate their attention on any detail of interest in the surrounding area.
  • 24.03 - Drama "Battle for Sevastopol" (Kinorob and Novye Lyudi), as well as the second season of the detective series The Sniffer (FILM.UA) were short-listed for WorldFest Houston (April 8-17, USA). Projects claim to win one of the 4 awards (Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze Remi Award) and will compete in "TV Mini-series" category. The results will be announced on April 16 at The Awards Gala.
  • 22.03 - Biopic about Lyudmila Pavlichenko, the deadliest female sniper in history Battle for Sevastopol (original title) / Red Sniper (German adaptation title), produced by FILM.UA Group and New People production company, and distributed by Meteor Film is in TOP-10 on iTunes in Germany and featured on its main page. Moreover, Red Sniper is now also available on key EST/TVOD platforms:  Amazon Video, Microsoft Xbox, Google Play, Maxdome, Videociety, Vodafone / Kabel Deutschland and Videoload / Telekom. 
  • 15.03 - During FILMART 2016 in Hong Kong, FILM.UA Distribution has closed a deal on all rights distribution for Ukrainian feature film for The Stronghold, which is currently in production by FILM.UA Group. 'The Stronghold' goes to Veera Film & Distribution (India) and Visicom Surya Gemilang (Vietnam and Malaysia).
  • 7.03 - FILM.UA Distribution has signed an agreement with Al-Jazeera for the sale of TV rights to Great Dreamers series. The acquired TV rights cover all the countries of the Arab world. Docudramas, produced by FILM.UA and Signal Red, are to be broadcast in Arabic. 
  • 1.03 - VOLIA, digital entertainment market leader, in collaboration with Tak Treba Production Studio will increase the volume of the adapted foreign content. At the end of 2015, group of channels VOLIA CINE+ broadcast first series voiced by the studio. It is planned that in 2016 the number of hours of TV series, voiced by Tak Treba Production specifically for VOLIA CINE+, will reach 350.
  • 29.02 - Poor People by Solomiya Tomaschuk, who won production support grant in 2014, has been accepted for the 2016 Short Film Corner. Since 2004, short film producers and directors have chosen the Short Film Corner as the place to present their films, make meetings reality and take decisive steps for their future careers.
  • 26.02 - FILM.UA Faculty presents a special master-class by American screenwriters James Cramer and Michael Shulman, author of the famous detective series "Who did this?".
  • 22.02 - For the first time, FILM.UA Group participated in the European Film Market with its own stand. The market was traditionally held under the aegis of Berlin International Film Festival.  At the stand of FILM.UA Group, the market participants familiarized themselves with full-length feature and animation films of the Group’s own production. The company also presented #KinoKraina legislative initiative aiming at adopting the law on state support and introducing a system of 25 per cent rebates, among other things.  
  • 19.02 - New York Festivals World's Best TV & Films announced its 2016 finalists, among them is drama Battle for Sevastopol. Biopic about a female sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko will compete for two awards in Mini-series and Special Visual Effects categories.
  • 15.02 - FILM.UA Group and Polish ATM Grupa signed a cooperation agreement on a feature film and mini-series entitled The Blizzard. The signing was announced at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin.
  • 11.02 - FILM.UA Group (Ukraine), the largest audiovisual and media powerhouse in Eastern Europe,  presents for the first time its official stand at the European Film Market, which is to be held on February 11 - 19 in the framework of the 66th Berlin International Film Festival.
  • 3.02 - People talk about them, trust them and put hope on them. They protect the peace and security of Ukrainians 24/7. But not everyone can imagine how much effort it takes to maintain order in the streets of our cities. ICTV TV Channel together with FILM.UA and National Police of Ukraine started shooting a reality "Patrol officers" - a unique project about the everyday life of the patrol police in a new for Ukrainian television genre of observational factual reality.
  • 13.01 - Drama «Nezlamna» (ENG: «Battle for Sevastopol»), released in April 2015, was shortlisted for the VES Awards, prestigious yearly celebration that recognizes outstanding visual effects artistry. Film will compete in Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Episode category.
  • 11.01 - According to data provided by VOLIA, FILMUADrama channel showed the best result in audience growth rate among top movie channels. In December, its audience has grown by 16%.

2015

  • 17.12 - "Spravzhnі Kanaly": two leading Ukrainian producers of audiovisual content, FILM.UA Group and Studio "Kvartal 95", teamed up for a joint development of paid satellite channels based on their own product.
  • 17.12 - OIFF Winter Film Market, FILM.UA Group presented its theatrical releases for 2016-2017. Feature films "The Stronghold" and "Polina" and animated feature projects "The Stolen Princess" and "Mavka. The Forest Song" were presented to the participants of the market.
  • 15.12 - OIFF Winter Film Market, FILM.UA Group presented its theatrical releases for 2016-2017. Among them was the first animated feature film "The Stolen Princess", produced by FILM.UA and Animagrad.
  • 9.12 - Animated series "Eskimo girl", produced by Animagrad, is now available on DVD to buyers in North America's largest retail chains Amazon and Walmart.
  • 3.12 - The Awards Ceremony of National Television Award Teletriumph 2014-2015 was held on December 2nd. This year FILM.UA Group was nominated in 11 categories and received 9 awards, more than any other TV channel and production company that were nominated.  
  • 12.11 - The Red Queen became the leader of TV viewing in October. The number of unique viewers who watched the series was more than 12 million people.
  • 9.11 - Last week ICTV channel aired the fibnal episode of "The Sniffer 2". Around 1.25 million viewers aged 4+ watched every new episode about the detective with a hypersensitive sense of smell.
  • 2.11 - WILD TRIBE FILMS (Belgium, France) and FILM.UA (Ukraine) are pleased to announce the beginning of shooting for the family adventure-fantasy written and directed by an award-winning French-Belgian director Olias Barco (KILL ME PLEASE, Grand Prix Rome IFF ). Three-time César Award winner Thierry Arbogast (THE FIFTH ELEMENT, BON VOYAGE, THE HORSEMAN ON THE ROOF) has joined the production as Director of Photography; shooting is set to take place at the FILM.UA studios in Kyiv, Ukraine.  
  • 23.10 - Short film "Poor people" by FILM.UA Faculty fellows director Solomiya Tomashchuk and cinematographer Andrey Kotlyar was shortlisted for Mongolia International Film Festival. The festival will be held October 25-26, and, despite its name, it was launched in Los Angeles in 2010. Festival celebrates independent works that bring original ideas to the cinema.
  • 9.10 - Biopic Battle for Sevastopol (Kіnorob, Novye Lyudi) will be screened at the International Film Festival of India, Goa. The film participates in the non-competitive section Cinema of the World, which presents world hits. The festival will be held from 20 to 30 November in Goa, India.
  • 9.10 - TV channel Inter finished broadcast of The Red Queen, series based on the biography of a famous Soviet model Regina Zbarskaya. Throughout the air series was vey popular among the viewers.
  • 7.10 - Ukraine-based FILM.UA Group has announced a format deal with Japanese TV channel NHK for drama series The Sniffer. This agreement represents NHK’s first acquisition of a foreign scripted drama series and an exciting step for FILM.UA into the international market.
  • 1.10 - Digital entertainment market leader Volia and one of the largest TV and production group in Eastern Europe FILM.UA Group announced the exclusive launch of FILMUADrama TV channel and plans for cooperation in the field of content co-production.
  • 1.10 - The biggest Japanese TV channel NHK and Ukrainian production company FILM.UA have concluded an agreement whereas NHK would adapt "The Sniffer", one of the most successful Ukrainian series, for the Japanese audience.
  • 30.09 - Companies FILM.UA and Animagrad started to work on the first feature-length animated film based on the classic work by Lesia Ukrainka - "Mavka. The Forest Song". For the first time, our literary classics will be presented to the audience with such bright, impressive and memorable images.
  • 28.09 - Animated series Eskimo girl, produced by Animagrad studio, was sold to Huashi TV and will be broadcast in China
  • 25.09 - The largest animation studio in Ukraine Animagrad, which is a part of FILM.UA Group, presents a package of animated feature projects that she started to produce in 2015, as well as a lineup of animated TV series, which will continue the success of "Eskimo girl".
  • 14.09 - Television channel TV3 (Modern Times Group) acquired the rights to adapt the Ukrainian successful format "Daddy's house" and has already started to work on the local version of the project. The show is scheduled for autumn 2015.
  • 10.09 - FILM.UA presented its payTV channel FILM.UADRAMA within PayTV in Ukraine-2015: Model of the Future Market at Kiev Media Week. Exclusive broadcast of the new channel will be included into VOLIA CINE+ VIP premium package
  • 8.09 - Two projects produced by FILM.UA, crime series The Sniffer and drama Inseparable, as well as TV version of Battle for Sevastopol (Kinorob and Novye Lyudi) are nominated for Best Miniseries/Best Made-for-TV Movie. This category is part of International “Gold Panda” Awards for TV Drama organized by Sichuan TV Festival (China). The Winner will be announced at the awards ceremony to be hosted on Nov. 7 in Chengdu.
  • 10.08 - FILM.UA Group became a member of Independent Film & Television Alliance.
  • 27.07 - Sergei Sozanovsky entered TOP 100 people of the new culture
  • 31.08 - TV version of "Battle for Sevastopol", co-produced by "Kіnorob" and "Novye Lyudi", has been nominated to compete for the PRIX EUROPA 2015 TV Fiction Award (Germany) together with 25 other submissions. International film festival will be held from 17 to 24 October in Berlin.
  • 2.07 - FILM.UA Group was participated in the 6th Odessa International Film Festival
  • 24.06 - Detective series «The Sniffer 2», produced by FILM.UA, took third place at the US International Film & Video Festival. The project received a Certificate for Creative Excellence in the "mini-series" category". Premiere of the second season is planned for autumn 2015 on ICTV channel.
  • 18.06 - Cinema Kids invites young people aged from 12 to 15 years to complete a course "I - VLOGGER" on creating video blogs.
  • 17.06 - French channel HD1 (TF1 group) will show a documentary "Tuez Hitler! La Chance du Diable", computer graphics for the film was created by Ukrainian experts at SIGNAL RED.
  • 15.06 - Animagrad and FILM.UA Distribution will take part in MIFA, which runs from 15th to 20th June at Annecy festival (France).
  • 15.06 -  Bangalore Shorts Film Festival (India) held its awards ceremony. According to the results of jury voting live-action trailer War Thunder: Victory is ours, created for Gaijin Entertainment by POSTMODERN, received an award for Best VFX. Also, the film was nominated for Best Short Film.
  • 15.06 - FILM.UA Group presents a new specialized YouTube-channel FILM.UA.family. FILM.UA.family is, above all, inspiration. After all, every day mothers, each in her own way, raise their children, putting their energy, time, labor and imagination into their lives. And often it's interesting to find out how others do it!
  • 10.06 - From June 25 to September 27 in Monterrey (Mexico) will be held an exhibition dedicated to the great scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. Visitors of the exhibition in the Centro de las Artes will be shown excerpts from the film "Free Energy of Tesla" (series "Great dreamers" produced by SIGNAL RED).
  • 8.06 - Detective series The Sniffer, produced by FILM.UA, is nominated in the category "Best TV series" at Tenerife International Film Festival. The awards ceremony will be held on July 10 in Madrid, Spain.
  • 18.05 - CEO at POSTMODERN & Digital Cinema Ukraine Yuriy Prilipko and CEO at POSTMODERN Digital Egor Borschevsky became members of Visual effects society.
  • 8.05 - "Battle for Sevastopol" will be shown on TV channel "Ukraina" and "The Sniffer" will be released on BNT
  • 9.05 - "Ukraine" will air an extended 4-episode version of the film about the most efficient female sniper of World War II Lyudmila Pavlichenko - "Battle for Sevastopol".
  • 6.05 - FILM.UA Group was chosen the best film for a young audience EFA Young Audience Award.
  • 30.04 - National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine unanimously issued satellite broadcasting license to "Real TV" company, the founder and owner of which is FILM.UA Group. Real TV will launch FILMUACTION and FILMUADRAMA.
  • 23.04 - 5th Beijing International Film Festival held its awards ceremony. A total of 15 films from 14 countries were set to compete for this year's 'Tiantan Awards'. The main acting prize – for best actress — went to Yuliya Peresild for “The Battle For Sevastopol” (Ukraine/Russia).
  • 23.04 -  International Film Festival WorldFest-Houston (USA) held its awards ceremony. According to the results of jury voting detective series The Sniffer (FILM.UA) won Platinum Remi Award in the category "TV mini-series". Docudrama "Archimedes. Master of numbers" (FILM.UA, Signal Red) took second place in the "documentary film" category and received Gold Remi Award. Among the numerous applications from more than 40 countries, FILM.UA was the only representative from Ukraine.
  • 21.04 - Cannes hosted the international market of audio-visual content MIPTV 2015. Traditionally FILM.UA Distribution presented FILM.UA Group projects and is ready to share first results of the trip.
  • 15.04 - "Archimedes. The master of numbers", co-produced by FILM.UA and Signal Red, won Bronze World Medal at New York Festival's World's Best TV & Films. The award ceremony was held on April 14 within NAB Show, the international exhibition and conference of electronic media technologies in Las Vegas. The film was the only representative of Ukraine at the festival and competed in "docudrama" category.
  • 10.04 - The American company NCircle Entertainment has acquired digital rights to all 3 seasons of children's animated 3D series "Eskimo girl" produced by Animagrad. In the near future company plans to launch "Eskimo girl" on various digital platforms.
  • 1.04 - Detective series "The Sniffer" (FILM.UA), as well as the docudrama "Archimedes. The master of numbers" (FILM.UA, Signal Red) are nominated in the categories "mini-series" and "documentary film" at WorldFest Houston. Results will be announced on April 18 at the awards ceremony, and the festival will be held from 10 to 19 April in Houston, USA.
  • 18.03 - FILM.UA Distribution has sold the format of docudrama "Mystical Tales" (FILM.UA Television) in Bulgaria. In March, Nova channel premiered the first local version of the show. At the moment, an agreement was signed to produce one season of "Mystical Tales".
  • 6.03 - FILM.UA Distribution Company and the American production company The Gurin Company signed an agreement on promotion of "The History of Criminalistics" (co-production Signal Red and FILM.UA) to the English-speaking markets.
  • 25.02 - "Archimedes. The master of numbers", co-produced by FILM.UA and Signal Red, is nominated in docudrama category at New York Festival's World's Best TV & Films. The award ceremony will be held on April 14 within NAB Show, the international exhibition and conference of electronic media technologies in Las Vegas. The film is the only representative of Ukraine at the festival. In this category, it will compete with the following nominees:
  • 23.02 - Melodrama "The Hellene" (FILM.UA) for six weeks holds the leading position on the TV watching on channel Inter. The series premiered January 12 and immediately caught the interest of viewers.
  • 6.02 - According to MediaBusiness a 24-episode family saga House with the lilies (FILM.UA, Favourite-Film) on Inter became the most watched series in 2014. Rating ans share among 18+ audience (50K+) were 10% and 25.7% respectively. 
  • 14.01 - Live-action trailer War Thunder: Victory is ours, created for Gaijin Entertainment by POSTMODERN, has already collected more than 4.5 million views on Youtube. This work of VFX-Ukrainian specialists was shortlisted for VES Awards in the category "Outstanding Created Environment in a Commercial, Broadcast Program, or Video Game".

2014

  • 17.12 - Two series produced by FILM.UA entered TOP-10 google requests 2014 in Ukraine in "series" category. 
  • 3.12 - The Sniffer, produced by FILM.UA, became one of the finalists in Best Non-English Language Drama category. 40 series were entered in Best Non-English Language Drama, and the votes were split more evenly between the entries, having 13 finalists in this section. This represents the amazing quality of international drama currently at large in the market. 
  • 21.11 - Resulsts of the competition "Film editor" for the best trailer were summed up at FILM.UA Studio. The winner is Oleg Papushenko. As a prize, Oleg received money prize, certificate for visiting three workshops within Skill Bill programme and, of course, a proposal for further cooperation with FILM.UA Group.
  • 5.11 - channel TV-3 starts broadcast of a docudrama series "Great dreamers", co-produced by FILM.UA and Signal Red. The first episode at 23:30 will tell the story of an inquisitive and seeking to comprehend the mysteries of the world Leonardo da Vinci.
  • 4.11 - Saga about three generations "House with the lilies", co-produced by FILM.UA and "Favorite Film", has become a  TV viewing leader in Russia.
  • 3.11 - International media consultancy K7 Media published a report on the most interesting dramas for October 2014 (K7 World Drama Report October 2014). Among the most interesting television projects in this genre experts of the authoritative edition also highlighted the second season of the detective series "The Sniffer". It is worth noting that "The Sniffer" is the only Ukrainian project that was included in K7 report for October 2014.
  • 30.10 - Due to the recent events in the cinema "Zhovten", part of Molodist IFF screenings will be held at FILM.UA with the support of FILM.UA Faculty.
  • 16.10 - "TV Center" (Russia) premiered a comedy mini-series "Robbers wore lipstick", a co-production of FILM.UA and "Empire of the good".
  • 14.10 - World Screen has prepared a list of the most interesting television projects presented at this year's MIPCOM (Cannes). Among them, the experts noted three FILM.UA projects, which the participants of the international television market should pay attention to. Detective series "The Sniffer", animated series "Eskimo girl" and "Dr. Baby Dust" caught the eye of the journalists. 
  • 13.10 - Family saga "House with the lilies", co-produced by FILM.UA and "Favorite Film", which premiered on October 6, on Channel One (Russia), achieves new record in TV viewing. On Wednesday (October 9), its rating rose to 10.5%, while the share - up to 30.8% (audience 18+). Thus, the series has become an undeniable leader.
  • 10.10 - Traditionally for MIPCOM (Cannes) the international consulting agency K7 Media has prepared a list of the most interesting television projects. This year it also includes 6 projects of FILM.UA.
  • 8.10 - Film "Archimedes. The master of numbers", produced by FILM.UA and Signal Red, received Golden Dolphin in the category of docudrama at Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.
  • 7.10 -Channel One (Russia) premiered a family saga "House with the lilies", co-production of FILM.UA and "Favorite Film".
  • 30.09 - Tak Treba Production voiced-over the most successful series of cable giant HBO for the last 4 years - "True Detective" with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in the lead roles.
  • 24.09 - FILM.UA and Okean Elzy completed the shooting of the film about the cult Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy.
  • 9.09 - FILM.UA Group and Media Resource Management launch a new educational project for film, television and media professionals and starters – FILM.UA Faculty.
  • 5.09 - Re-broadcast of a detective series "The Sniffer" kicked off last week on Channel One (Russia). It took second place in the overall ranking of TV viewing and the first place among all TV series.
  • 3.09 - Within LINOLEUM Animation and Media Art Festival Ukrainian animation brand for children "Eskimo girl" will held a special event "Children's days with Eskimo girl".
  • 14.08 -"Archimedes. The master of numbers" (FILM.UA, Signal Red) was shortlisted for Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, it will compete in "docudrama" category.
  • 4.07 - Company SatTelecom, which enters FILM.UA Group, delivers Eco-TV signal to the AMOS-3 satellite.
  • 26.06 - FILM.UA Distribution Company signed a contract for the transfer of all types of rights on the Sniffer to a French company «Box Distribution».
  • 23.06 - Detective series "The Sniffer" produced by FILM.UA, was shortlisted for European competition at Festival de la Fiction TV, which will be held from 10 to September 14 in La Rochelle, France.
  • 19.06 - In the May issue of Variety our biographical series "Vanga" (FILM.UA, FAVORITE FILM), "Vasiliy Stalin" (FILM.UA, FAVORITE FILM) and "Chapay" (FILM.UA, Central Partnership, FAVORITE FILM) entered TOP 20 historical and biographical series and TV movies over the past two years.
  • 16.06 - FILM.UA and Okean Elzy started to work on a feature documentary for theatrical release. Project is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the creation of the legendary Ukrainian rock band.
  • 13.06 - SIGNAL RED and one of the most successful production companies in Central Germany Saxonia Entertainment (Leipzig, Germany) began a collaboration on the German documentary TV project with the working title "Buchenwald" ("Buchenwald"), director André Meyer, producer Simone Baumann.
  • 11.06 - On June 11 at 15:15 police officers entered FILM.UA and reported about the call that studio has been mined. Also there were MES with dog experts, fire brigade and ambulance. All employees of the studio, as well as the crew, viewers and judges of the X-Factor (STB) were evacuated outside the studio. More than 1,000 people were evacuated. Inspection of all premises took about 2 hours, but the threat was false. Sudio's work has continued. No one is hurt.
  • 4.06 - Ukrainian production company FILM.UA has agreed an international distribution partnership with Belgium’s Crazy Cow.
  • 3.06 - Detective series "The Sniffer", which became the best TV series in 2013 in Russian and held the top ranking position in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Israel, was sold to Estonia. 
  • 27.05 - Production companies from Ukraine and Russia are collaborating on a local version of a Spanish coming-of-age drаma that’s already being remade in the US for Fox.
  • 26.05 - «Xian JY Entertainment» purchased internet rights on The BomberKasym and TV movie Inseparable
  • 16.05 - September 6-28, 2014 with the support of Tsarev Fond and FILM.UA for the first time in Kiev Lavra gallery will host 9th International Festival of Contemporary Animation and Media Arts LINOLEUM. The festival aims to encourage and stimulate the creativity of animators and media artists, as well as the popularization of the actual animation and media arts in Ukraine.
  • 12.05 - Drama series «Inseparable», produced by FILM.UA, shortlisted for Shanghai TV Festival, which takes place June 9-13 in Shanghai, China.
  • 29.04 - Signal Red, a member of FILM.UA Group, shot a teaser for a new project with the working title "History of assassinations". On the example of an assassination attempt on Theodore Roosevelt company's team plans to demonstrate the technology and visual solutions of the future project which will focus on the most important and significant assassinations in history.
  • 14.04 -  WorldFest held its Awards Ceremony in Houston. TV Drama «Inseparable» (FILM.UA) and docudrama «Leonardo da Vinci» (FILM.UA, Signal Red) received Platinum Remi Award in categories TV Special-Drama and Documentary.
  • 11.04 - Chicago International Film Festival Television held its Awards ceremony. Detective series «The Sniffer» (FILM.UA) received Gold Plaque in the category mini-series and «Inseparable» (FILM.UA) - Silver Plaque in the category TV film.

As a winner of an intermedia-globe GOLD, they automatically becomes a nominees for an intermedia-globe GRAND AWARD (best in each of the 14 main Festival categories) from which the Special Jury for Excellence selects the winner of the intermedia-globe GRAND PRIX (best of all festival entries).
  • 8.04 - a 40-episode project “Maternity Ward” has become available on FILM.UA Group’s channel. YouTube users from more than 200 countries can watch these documentaries.
  • 7.04 - Best series in 2013 in Russia, Ukrainian "The Sniffer" also was a hit in Israel, Kazakhstan, Belarus and the Baltic States. This success made FILM.UA Distribution think about its serious career in Europe.   • 18.02 - "The Sniffer", produced by FILM.UA received over half a million views in 45 days on Now.ru, which is one of the biggest online movie theaters in Russia. This is not the first success of "The Sniffer". Earlier it was voted as the highest rated series in the last five years
  • 17.02 - The Ukrainian Pavilion will start its work in the course of international content market DISCOP ISTANBUL on March 4 featuring leading Ukrainian prodcos and distributors presenting their content and services. 
  • 13.02 - Teletriumph announced the winners via live stream video. In the category "best performance by an actress in a TV film/series" the award went to Olesya Zhurakovskaya for her role in a TV series "The road to nowhere", produced by FILM.UA and Intra-film.
  • 3.02 - Company "SatTelecom", which enters FILM.UA Group, has sighned an agreement with "NTV Mir" on delivering the signal to AMOS-3 satellite and replaces commercial in real time to a local one for an international version of the channel. "NTV Mir" is not the first Russian channel, which international version is broadcasted on the territory of Ukraine and receives the full support of an experienced team of "SatTelecom".  Earlier, the same agreement was reached with the TV channel "RTR Planeta".

  • 25.12 - Company GOOD Points, which is engaged in merchandising within FILM.UA Group, signed an agreement on the placement of Luntik’s image on the concentrated phosphate-free washing powder pack Royal Powder Baby. 
  • 23.12 - ICTV channel starts broadcasting the series "Chapay” co-production of FILM.UA, Central Partnership and Favourite-film.
  • 20.12 - The Sniffer has stolen the crown of Ashes to become the most watched series on Russian television in 2013. The detective series produced by FILM.UA had a brilliant premiere on Monday night on Perviy (Channel One Russia).
  • 17.12 - FILM.UA Distribution signed an agreement with Ukrainian International Airlines on licensing Hollywood movies for screening on long-range flights. Previously a license agreement was signed with "Kharkov Airlines".

  • 20.11 - FILM.UA Distribution signed an agreement with the Bulgarian National channel BNT on selling movies and mini-series, produced by FILM.UA in 2013. The package includes movies and mini-series: "Sniffer", "Inseparable", "Vanga", "Vasily Stalin" and "Kasym"
  • 13.11 - While ICTV started broadcasting "Sniffer”, FILM.UA continues shooting the second season. The series has already been shown on KTK in Kazakhstan and on the 9th channel in Israel, where it was a big hit (the share of the project was 22.3%, audience 18+). In the near future it will be broadcasted on Channel One in Russia and Lietuvos Rytas TV in Lithuania.

  • 30.09 -Mini-series "Angels of War", produced by FILM.UA, PRONTO FILM, WISE VISION, was shortlisted for International “Gold Panda” Awards for TV Drama at Sichuan TV Festival. This year it has received 578 program entries, including 242 from China and 336 from more than 40 different countries worldwide. The festival will take place November 16 to 19 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
  • 2.09 - Docudrama «Jules Verne. A life long journey», produced by FILM.UA and Signal Red, was shortlisted for Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2013. Film will compete for one of the 4 awards in the category of "docudrama". This year festival has received 719 number of entries representing 40 countries from 5 continents. The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards Gala takes place on October 17th, 2013 at Palm Beach Cannes.
  • 28.08 - «Vasiliy Stalin», produced by FILM.UA and Favourite film, entered TOP Google queries among Ukrainian users for the period 08.19.2013 - 25.08.2013. The series was first broadcasted on the TV channel "Inter". The same query leads in the category "TV series".  Among the persons most popular was the son of Joseph Stalin Vasiliy Stalin (the hero of the series "Vasiliy Stalin"). Thus, a film about the Soviet "Prince" has caused a great resonance among the Ukrainian Internet users.
  • 21.08 - FILM.UA and INTRA FILM started shooting a new film "Light o'love". A story of a young and successful entrepreneur Nikita Gorelov who meets a ne'er do-well, and his whole life stability is ruined. But I will not tell you what happens next. You'll see for yourself.
  • 16.07 - Docudrama "Jules Verne. A life long journey" was shortlisted for the Portuguese Festival AVANCA 2013. We remind you that the docudrama about one of the founders of the science fiction is a part of the series "Great Dreamers" along with the films "Tsiolkovsky's worlds of miracle", "Free Energy of Tesla" and "Leonardo".
  • 2.07 - FILM.UA Group gained a new member. «Prototype production» - advertising production agency, singular advantage of which is the access to FILM.UA's production facilities.
  • 19.06 - FILM.UA plans to make a film about Regina Zbarsky - famous model of the Soviet period. This will be a large-scale multi-part project. Victor Mirsky, general producer of FILM.UA Group, told this information to MediaBusiness.
  • 18.06 -  Star Media announced the purchase of the Australian series Wilfred, and soon started shooting, naming Russian version "Charlie". One of the locations where the action takes place is a veterinary clinic, which was made in the sets of the series "Dr. Baby Dust" in the pavilion # 5 at FILM.UA Studio.   • 15.05  - FILM.UA Distribution signed a contract with MigFilm company for selling "Angels of War", "Kasym" and "Inseparable" to Germany and Austria and the German-speaking area of Switzerland. These movies have also been sold to the UK during MIPTV.
  • 25.04 - Docudramas «Jules Verne. A life long journey» and «Free energy of Tesla» (co-production of FILM.UA and Signal RED) received Platinum Remi Award, highest award in the category documentary film, at WorldFest Houston. War mini-series «Angels of War», produced by  FILM.UA, WISE VISION and PRONTO FILM, received Special Jury Award. The awards were presented April 21, 2013 in Houston, United States.

  • 22.04 - Second Kyiv International Short Film Festival will take place in Kiev. FILM.UA is always ready to support young and developing projects of Ukrainian film industry, among them is KISFF.   • 10.04 - FILM.UA has completed the series "Inseparable" (4 x 52 min.). The events in the film take place against the backdrop of one of the largest man-made disasters of the past century - the Chernobyl accident.   • 22.03 - During the FILMART, which was held in Hong Kong from 18 to 21 March, company FILM.UA Distribution has signed an agreement with the Thai company on selling TV and DVD rights for the military series: Angels of WarBlack Sheep, InseparableThe BomberKasymWerewolf HuntSpecial DispatchWerewolf's Jurisdiction. Also, home video rights (DVD, Blu-Ray, VoD) for Angels of War and Black Sheep were acquired by a Japanese company. Negotiations continue with companies from China, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore on acquiring the content from FILM.UA's catalogue.

  • 27.02 - According to TNS Media Research, published in "Telescope” (№ 8, 2013), series "Chapay" (co-production FILM.UA, Central Partnership and FAVORITE-FILM) entered TOP 10 popular programs among Russians (age 4+) on the week of February 11, 2013. Premiere of a 12-episode war drama took place on First Channel (Russia) on February 13 at 21:30 (GMT), and the first day of the broadcast collected a share of 18.9%, which allowed it to become a leader.
  • 6.02 - According to the results of 2012, most popular films of on-line cinema MEGOGO.NET are: cartoon about Luntik, film about a dead broke billionaire from Manhattan "Cosmopolis” and "Bachelorette". It is noteworthy that TOP 10 most popular films included three animated series. "The Adventures of Luntik and His Friends" - children's cartoon created by the Russian animation studio "Mill".   • 14.01 - A very special gift for the New Year's holiday for us was the gratitude of the UNICEF fund in Ukraine, signed by Yukie Mokuo. This fall, a presentation of the video that FILM.UA and Signal RED specially created for the 15th anniversary of UNICEF in Ukraine took place. Except for the video presentation, children's party was organized at the studio.
  • 10.01 - Ukrainian cinemas launched a film on the novel by Yann Martel - "Life of Pi". The film was dubbed in Ukrainian by POSTMODERN, which recording studios are located on FILM.UA Studio. Ukrainian dubbing was recognized by philologists experts for the fidelity of the translation.
  • 20.12 - FILM.UA Distribution signed a contract with "Seventh Channel" (Kazakhstan) on the sale of 20 items from the catalog.   •  19.12 -  Ukrainian cinemas launched the long-awaited premiere of the film "The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey". In Ukrainian language film was dubbed at FILM.UA, namely in the recording studios of POSTMODERN. Digital copies for cinemas were provided by Digital Cinema Ukraine.

  • 28.11 - FILM.UA Studio is a complex, which allows organizing shooting of large-scale projects with comfort and little effort. We’ve already told you about the most modern pavilion in Ukraine, about retro-car park, costume and props departments. And now, not far from the pavilion complex, within Kiev, a new shooting location has settled. An authentic village with wooden houses, gates, well and with a boat in one of the yards. Backlot has a private lake and is surrounded by a hedge that with the arrival of spring will please the eye with green leaves and bright colors.
  • 21.11 - For the third year, the Independent Association of Broadcasters (IAB) together with FILM.UA hold a festival KINOMEDIA - a non-profit film festival about the principles of newspaper reporters, journalists, broadcasters, PR practitioners and others who write, shoot, talk and work in the field of media.

  • 5.10 - Reality show «Jail Birds», co-production by FILM.UA and Ukrainian TV channel ICTV, has entered the top five finalists of C21/Frapa Format Awards in the category Best Competition Reality Format.
  • 3.10 - Military mini-series «Angels of War», co-production of FILM.UA and Wise Vision (Director - Tetiana Khodakivska), has entered competitive category «Feature programme – TV film and TV series» at International TV Festival Bar. The festival will be held from October 22 to 26 in Bar, Montenegro, and director of the series Tatiana Khodakovskaya was invited to visit it. We remind you that in 2009, the mini-series «Black Sheep» was also nominated in the category «Feature programme – TV film and TV series».
  • 18.09 -  a semi-final of the American television award Emmy took place at FILM.UA Studio. The authoritative jury viewed and voted for the films of the competition program in the cinema «Pravda». Emmy is the television equivalent of the «Oscar» (for film), the award «Grammy» (for music) and the award «Tony» (for theater).
  • 11.09 - FILM.UA decided to support talented students - future film and television directors. According to the commission, it was decided to give FILM.UA scholarship to three best students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th courses of KNU named after Karpenko-Kary.
  • 31.08 -  nominees of Seoul International Drama Awards were announced. Yesterday, August 30, at the awards ceremony at the National Theater of Korea mini-series "The Bomber" received Special Prize for facilitating cross-cultural exchange. In addition, the film struggled in the mini-series category with such strong contestants as "The Underground Empire", "Sherlock 2", "Great Expectations".  Also, director of the series Vitaly Vorobyov was shortlisted in the category "Best Director".
  • 9.08 - Sitcom «Swallow’s Nest», which is distributed by FILM.UA Distribution, will be broadcasted on First Channel Eurasia in Kazakhstan starting August 6. Series is broadcasted on weekdays in daytime.
  • 7.08 - Signal RED started shooting commercial for UNICEF. This year, the Organization for the Protection of Children's Rights is celebrating 15 years in Ukraine, in this connection, the idea to create a small trailer that could illustrate the main activities arose.
  • 1.08 - The film «The Bomber» (FILM.UA, Shpil, 2011) was nominated for the Seoul International Drama Awards and will compete for a prize in the category of mini-series.   • 15.06 - Mini-series «The Bomber» (FILM.UA, film company Shpil) in terms of TV viewing in May 2012 entered the top 10 films of channel ICTV. According to GFK Ukraine mini-series «The Bomber» gained a share of 15.20% (age 14-49). The series was broadcasted from 14 to 17 May in the evening prime time (at 20:15 and at 21:15).
  • 31.05 - the Ukrainian movie theaters will show a long-awaited prequel of the legendary «Alien» - the film «Prometheus». Picture of Ridley Scott was dubbed by our old friends and partners, company «POSTMODERN». «Prometheus» was not only dubbed at FILM.UA Studio - digital copies for the theaters were made by the company «DCU», a digital lab which is located at our studio. 
  • 24.05 - Within the fifth Congress of IAB (Independent Association of Radio & TV broadcasters): «All modern aspects of radio and  television activities» head of legal department of FILM.UA , Igor Bondarenko,  made a speech. On May 23, at 17:00, Igor along with representatives from the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the STB have taken part in a panel discussion on «Intellectual Property: distribution of film rights».
  • 18.05 - Soon FILM.UA Group will present its first animation project, which is planned as an animated series for adults. Sparkling humor, current social and philosophical issues in every episode of the series, and vivid characters will become hallmarks of the cartoon "Uyovinsk"
  • 16.05 - Our friends and partners, company «POSTMODERN», a team which pleases the audience with a qualitative sounding, has dubbed a new blockbuster «The Avengers». 
  • 7.05 - FILM.UA continues to receive awards of international TV and film festivals. Documentary film directed by Sergey Bukovsky «Ukraine. When the countdown began» (co-production of FILM.UA and «Perspective Ukraine» foundation) received globe-GOLD in a subcategory «political film». In turn, series «The Bomber» (co-production of FILM.UA and Shpil) received globe-SILVER in a subcategory «mini-series». Award ceremony will take place on the 9th of May in Hamburg, Germany.  As a winner of an intermedia-globe GOLD, «Ukraine. When the countdown began» automatically becomes a nominee for an intermedia-globe GRAND AWARD (best in each of the 14 main Festival categories) from which the Special Jury for Excellence selects the winner of the intermedia-globe GRAND PRIX (best of all festival entries). 

 2011

  • 21.01 – A film club entitled NoNameClub starts functioning at FILM.UA Studio. The task of the club is to screen time-tested renowned movies from the world’s golden collection and also to hold interesting talks about good films and unknown facts, to organize public discussions and film screenings, meetings with active cinematographers and parties.  
  • 01.02 – Signal Red, a creative agency and a production company, is founded. The company provides a wide range of services in video design, branding and production of TV and film content: from the concept to full projects implementation.  
  • 23.03 -  FILM.UA Television became the only Ukrainian member of Sparks Network, one of the biggest media associations in the world dealing with development and distribution of TV formats and content. Sparks Network members include leading film and TV production companies in 16 countries of the world heading the rankings at local markets. 
  • 28.04 – A Ukrainian film made with the participation of FILM.UA won at the 64th Cannes International Film Festival. Cross, a short film by young Ukrainian director Maryna Vroda, was co-produced by FILM.UA (Ukraine) and Three line Production (France).
  • 26.05 – For the first time in Ukraine, CDSA certification was received by two companies: Digital Cinema Ukraine and POSTMODERN, both part of FILM.UA Group. This means that all content from these companies is securely protected from pirating.
  • 20.10 - FILM.UA Distribution concluded an agreement to sell two military series, The Bomber and Black Sheep, on the territory of German-speaking countries. After the films are dubbed into German, they will be released on DVDs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • 21.11 – For the first time the heads of Ukrainian companies  POSTMODERN and Signal Red, Yegor Olesov and Yevgeniy Sannikov, became members of the most respected world association of visual  effects experts, The Visual Effects Society (VES).
  • 18.11 -  FILM.UA received two Teletriumph statuettes in nominations TV Film/Series DOP (Aleksey Lamakh, Deliver At All Costs) and TV Film/Series Producer (Maksim Ukhanov, Viktor Mirsky, Maksim Asadchy, The Bomber).  
  • 29.11 – Yevgeniy Sannikov, Signal Red director, became a member of  PROMAX BDA international association.
  • 30.11 – In Berlin, a special screening of Ukraine. The Starting Point was organized, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence and Soviet Union disintegration. The screening was held under the aegis of Ukrainian Film Club screenings in Berlin, in the reception hall of Ukrainian Embassy in Germany.

2010

  • 20.01 - FILM.UA Distribution signed agreements with Japan and Poland to sell rights to the series  The Werewolf Hunt and Tertium Non Datur.  
  • 08.02 – Start of screenwriting courses established by  FILM.UA jointly with PRIMA-FILM.
  • 04.03 – STB channel premiered Mystical Tales; the program format was developed by FILM.UA Television.
  • 10.03 – Opening of Digital Cinema Ukraine, a unique platform of integrated services for the development and implementation of the bravest ideas and concepts from professionals in cinema, gaming and advertising industry.
  • 21.04 – Rights to series The Werewolf Hunt, Tertium Non Datur and Black Sheep were sold to the territories of Benelux, Greenland, Iceland, Finland and China.   
  • 30.04 -  FILM.UA opens an acting school.
  • 18.05 -  FILM.UA Group announces the opening of a new direction in the group structure, a specialized agency to organize media events.  FILM.UA Events offers events organization at  FILM.UA Studio. 5 shooting pavilions, a cinema, own catering, a wardrobe, a huge props collection and a retro car park are all at the client’s disposal.  
  • 20.09 -  Digital Cinema Ukraine (DCU) company becomes the first from Ukraine to make it to the list of world digital film labs. The film lab specializes in complex tasks to convert image and sound into DCP format according to Digital Cinema Initiatives specification.
  • 27.09 -  FILM.UA, jointly with Independent TV and Radio Broadcasters Association, organizes Kinomedia, a festival of short films about media work. The Grand Prix winner will go to the 64th Cannes International Film Festival in May 2011.
  • 15.10 - FILM.UA received 4 Teletriumph prizes in the following nominations: TV Film Composer (Yegor Olesov, Black Sheep); TV Feature Film/Mini Series (Black Sheep); Infotainment Program (Doctor Komarovsky’s School); and TV Novella (Neighbors).  
  • 03.11 - FILM.UA Distribution signed an agreement to sell the rights to Black Sheep and The Werewolf Hunt with UK distributors. The deal was struck after the meetings at MIP COM 2010. Besides, the military series were sold to Thailand, China and Hong Kong, and The Werewolf Hunt to Indonesia.  
  • 02.12 – In November 2010,  FILM.UA Distribution and Digital Ventures struck an unprecedented deal for the Ukrainian media market: an annual contract on FILM.UA selling exclusive publishing rights for a big package of films and TV series (both produced by FILM.UA group only and in co-production with other film companies) at Tochka.net portal. This is over 400 hours of audiovisual content. 

2009

  • 10.04 -  FILM.UA Distribution company came back from MIPCOM 2009 annual exhibition. After the trip, the arrangements with Czech partners were finalized to sell rights to films Tertium Non Datur, The Werewolf Hunt and Exit.  
  • 09.06 – With the participation of FILM.UA Distribution, a deal was struck with Film Vision, a company from Kyrgyzstan. The deal concerned TV rights to series Healed With Love made by FILM.UA.
  • 22.06 – The end of DISCOP 2009, an Eastern European market of TV content held in Budapest. After the visit to the market, preliminary arrangements were reached about selling the rights to military action series The Werewolf Hunt and a military detective film Tertium Non Datur to the territory of Poland.   
  • 07.07 - FILM.UA Distribution concluded a deal on the territory of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The deal was reached on a 60-episode TV novella Territory of Beauty filmed by FILM.UA Production in 2008.
  • 27.07 -  FILM.UA starts working on a new genre, documentaries and docudramas about historical events and figures.  
  • 26.08 -  FILM.UA Distribution signed a contract with a Latvian company to sell rights to the territories of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for a package of films.  FILM.UA Distribution transfers the rights to its Baltic partners to release the following films on DVDs: Saint Patrick’s Mystery, Shadow’s Hunting, Female job with risk for life, European Convoy, Enterpreneurs, Bankers, The Murderer With No Identity, Operations Officer Kryuk, Dead.Alive. Dangerous, Games Grown-Up Girls Play, Woman’s Intuition 1, Gas Station Queen 2.  
  • 22.10 - Kodak Cinelab Ukraine at FILM.UA Studio is the first lab in Ukraine to develop negative films. The lab has all cutting-edge technologies in place:  Calder, a developing machine from the UK; the option to transfer information to Digital Betacam; and a machine for ultrasound film cleaning. Only Kodak-produced solutions are used for developing (now they are among the best solutions in the world); developing is done under chemical, mechanic and sensitometric control.
  • 14.12 – A new advertising video is made for VIASAT, a leader at the satellite TV market.

2008

  • 28.02  - FILM.UA Distribution was presented in the Ukrainian pavilion of WorldContentMarket in Prague. This event was held for the first time, on February 25-27, 2008.
  • 28.05  -  FILM.UA starts working with alternative formats: Mysterious Island thriller (starring Yevgeniy Stychkin, Nelli Uvarova and Bogdan Benyuk) will be shot on a 16 mm film. It is a first for the company; before, all TV films were shot in HD-DVD, a high-resolution digital format.
  • 28.08  -  An affiliated production company entitled FILM.UA Television emerged in the structure of FILM.UA Group. The company will deal exclusively with TV programs production.  
  • 09.07  -  Igor Storchak, director of FILM.UA Distribution company, was invited as a jury member to the semifinals of International Emmy Awards to determine the best TV works beyond the US in Comedy and Scriptless Entertainment Shows categories.
  • 12.07  -  One of the first successful Ukrainian soap operas, She Wolf, was sold to Lebanon for air broadcast. This is the country’s first cooperation with Ukraine. Besides, some TV films produced by FILM.UA were sold to Asia to be shown on “new media”.  
  • 10.07  - Singapore Airlines guests will be able to watch Ukraine-produced films on board during the flight; among the sold rights are FILM.UA hits The Bluebird of Happiness and If You Hear Me. A full package of rights was sold to Canada to broadcast all FILM.UA Distribution library on IPTV for the Ukrainian diaspora. The TV rights to melodrama Subscriber Cannot Be Reached at the Moment were sold to Italy.   
  • 27.10 – At Cannes film market, Latvian television bought 10 films from FILM.UA for their broadcasts; one of the biggest Russian companies will release new FILM.UA films on DVDs (Mysterious Island, Snowbreak, Gravity, Love Cardiogram, Chemistry, Everything Happens for a Reason).  
  • 21.11 - FILM.UA Television, the Group’s affiliated company, jointly with National Space Agency became partners with the biggest German broadcaster ProSieben to implement a unique and unprecedented project. Using professional capacities of FILM.UA and Konstantin Entertainment as well as the research foundation of Space Agency, the German TV channel sent 100 email messages to space broadcasting it live in a well-known Uri Geller Show. Uri Geller is the German David Copperfield, an illusionist and a mentalist, well known for his spoon-bending trick and stopping the Big Ben clock. 

2007

  • 21.03 – FILM.UA completed its restructuring process on the 16th of March and created a comprehensive media group. Several affiliated companies will now start working under the umbrella of FILM.UA Group. FILM.UA Production is a company producing TV films and series for Ukrainian and Russian TV channels. FILM.UA Distribution sells rights to TV and film products and is organized on the basis of IntWest Distribution company (Ukraine).
  • 09.06 - FILM.UA Distribution sold the rights to Witch Love series to be shown in Kazakhstan, the Baltic countries, Belarus, Israel and the USA.  
  • 29.08  - Creation of POSTMODERN company. It is the biggest post-production studio in Ukraine. Providing a wide range of services to work with the image, sound and video effects, our professional team offers a full cycle of post-production solutions, from the development of creative scenario to the delivery of finished product.  
  • 18.10 - At MIPCOM 2007 in France, the company presented a catalogue of new films from FILM.UA, among them Playing Tin Soldiers, Man for Life, God of Sorrow and Joy and many others. Cozy family films from FILM.UA will also be shown to the audiences in Poland, Bulgaria and France. 
  • 26.10 - FILM.UA company delegation came back from the 12th International Television Festival in Bar (Montenegro) with an award. For the first time, two Ukrainian films participated in the competition program, both produced by FILM.UA: God of Sorrow and Joy and On the Bridge. Aleksandra Kulikova was awarded Best Actress for playing the lead in TV film God of Sorrow and Joy.  
  • 13.12 – On the Bridge was nominated to the 21st International Festival of Audiovisual Programs in France (Festival International de Programmes Audiovisuels – FIPA). The event will take place in Biarritz on January 22-27, 2008. The film by Ivan Sautkin will participate in the festival in Drama category.   

2006

  • 01.12 – Opening of the first (orange) pavilion at FILM.UA Studio. Thanks to its size – 900 sq.m. – and high-tech equipment, the pavilion is actively used for filming series and reality shows. The pavilion architecture was used to film a 160-episode TV novella Heart Has Its Way (adapted from Romanian format Tears of Love). The project was successfully broadcast on 1+1 TV channel (Ukraine) and federal Fifth Channel (Russia).  
  • 11.12 -  FILM.UA jointly with Pronto Production started shooting a new film entitled On the Bridge.  
  • 26.06 – End of filming for one-episode melodrama Bring Back the Faith jointly produced by Production.ua and FILM.UA.

2005

  • 01.04 – End of filming for TV novella Healed With Love produced by FILM.UA and Mamadu creative group and commissioned by Inter TV channel. It is the first long-playing soap opera produced in Ukraine. In parallel with Inter TV channel, Healed with Love was successfully broadcast on Rossiya and RTR-Planeta channels (Russia), KTK (Kazakhstan), LNT (Latvia), and others.

2004

  • 05.04 – Aerosvit licenses FILM.UA films for personal video players available to business class passengers. Practically all TV films, military series and musicals produced by FILM.UA are included into the playlist.
  • 21.05 – End of filming for Joker, a detective TV film produced by FILM.UA and Inter TV channel.  
  • 12.11 – End of filming for Oksana Bayrak’s melodrama Woman’s Intuition produced by FILM.UA, Studio Bayrak and Inter.  

2003

  • 01.11 - FILM.UA finished filming its first drama series European Convoy based on real events. It is the story of a unique crime – bank robbery in a small Lower Saxony town by three men from the USSR, taking two hostages, car chase over the territory of three countries and hostage liberated in the vicinity of Rivne. The film was shot in Luneburg, the chase in Uelzen, and in spite of formal ban real German police cars were used in it. The filming group has worked for three days on the territory of a sensitive facility, the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior, having occupied the office of No. 2 person in the organization, the State Secretary. For 24 hours the filming group was granted access to transborder crossing Dorokhusk-Yagodyn.
