Love in Chains Costume Drama To Be Shown in Spain!

The premiere of the series will happen this summer on the Divinity channel.

Love in Chains costume drama became the first Ukrainian drama series to be acquired by the Spanish TV channel. A while ago Ukrainian detective series The Sniffer was featured on the Spanish channel E-Energy.

Divinity is one of the channels owned by Mediaset España mass media company, a subsidiary of the biggest Italian broadcaster Mediaset.

It is a pleasure to prove once again that Ukrainian projects of any format can be popular worldwide. The first season of the series premiered in summer 2019 in Ukraine on STB channel. It enjoyed a great reception by the audience, breaking a number of records in ratings by share and became the best performing series broadcasted on Ukrainian TV in March for the past 6 years.

Next in the line was Poland, where due to its unprecedented popularity, both seasons of the series were broadcasted back to back on the TVP1 channel. The project had acquired a devoted fan following numbering in thousands and set a record in viewership. Love in Chains became the best series of the month in Poland, and propelled TVP1 to the top position in the channel rankings.

The series aired in Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus. The broadcasting rights to Love in Chains are sold in Japan (A.K Company), the Czech Republic (Prima TV), Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria (BNT), Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, and in two territories: Latin America and Ex-Yugoslavian countries. Besides, it’s available on the most popular VOD service Amazon Prime, where it’s accessible to the North American viewers.
