In the beginning of this spring FILM.UA Group has signed a contract with Amazon on The Sniffer Season 1 distribution to Amazon Premium subscribers in the territories of USA and Canada. In the end of March full season of the successful series with English subtitles was added into Amazon Video library.
Within month and a half, The Sniffer has received highest rates and mostly positive reviews from Amazon Premium subscribers. The viewers highlight a good quality of content itself and a perfect acting. The Sniffer is compared to the American Mentalist and the British Sherlock in the comments on Amazon, and Kirill Kyaro’s acting is compared to Hugh Laurie’s in House M.D. “I have to stop and remind myself that I'm watching a Ukrainian TV show. In most respects it could easily be set in the US,” comment the customers and waiting for second season of the successful series appearance on Amazon.
Currently the Sniffer is available for Amazon Premium subscribers in USA and Canada, but the service has already been tested in the other territories, and soon it would be available in Germany, England and Japan.
FILM.UA Group has recently finalized another project appearance in the Amazon video library, and soon we will share the details.
The Sniffer is a crime series produced by FILM.UA Group. Season 1 was released in 2013 and Season 2 in 2015. Rights for the series distribution were sold to over 60 territories, and the original Ukrainian TV format will be adopted in France (TF1) and Japan (NHK).
Season 3 of The Sniffer series is currently in development.
