While ICTV started broadcasting "Sniffer”, FILM.UA continues shooting the second season. The series has already been shown on KTK in Kazakhstan and on the 9th channel in Israel, where it was a big hit (the share of the project was 22.3%, audience 18+). In the near future it will be broadcasted on Channel One in Russia and Lietuvos Rytas TV in Lithuania.
English cameraman Graham Frake, who recently worked on the TV series "Downton Abbey", was invited to shoot the second season.
Here's how he Graham comments on his work on the second season:
- You know, I do not speak Russian, not to speak of Ukrainian. But we fell into step! We understand each other. When director and producer called me, I watched the first season and I liked it. I wanted to be part of this project. And I 'm sure it was the right decision.
The main characters remain unchanged: Sniffer is played by Kirill Kyaro, his chief assistant, Victor, is played by Ivan Oganesyan.
The creators promise that the second season will be even more interesting, crimes will be more sophisticated, and special effects - more beautiful. Filming will take place in two stages: 4 series will be shot before the New Year, and the next 4 episodes in spring 2014. Release is planned for autumn 2014.
