Three ingredients for success in business and career for you?
I gues it is an attempt to create something that has not happened in this country, to continue surprising myself every day, and perhaps this is something romantic. I just want life around us to be beautiful, and a little cinematic maybe.
Your definition - "a successful businessman - is the one who ..."
At each stage - start, middle, peak - you can give a different definition. Now, for me, a successful businessman is someone who is not just trying to make money, but the one who makes life meaningful, not only for oneself and family, but also for other people.
What was the turning point in your career?
I guess this turning point was in a deep childhood. In Soviet times nobody thought about doing business. I do not know why, but when I was a child my parents forbade me to watch TV. And arguing with parents is what one always want. And to watch TV, I did everything possible to make this TV and do something for the TV. Then I got the maximum satisfaction.
The most important advice or wisdom that you can share with those who want to make a successful business.
Do not be afraid - this is the first and most important. And you probably should not listen to advices. You need to listen to yourself - and you’ll make it.
