The premiere of "Kasym" in Kazakhstan has set a record

To commemorate May 9 Kazakhstan has showed the film "Kasym", co-produced by FILM.UA, Intra-Film and TV channels "KTK", "Kazakhstan" and "First Channel Eurasia".

The film tells about one of the feats of the famous Soviet saboteur Kasym Kasaydametov, who during World War II fought on the territory of Ukraine. The main character is performed by a Kazakh actor Kuandyk Kystykbaev, and the director of the project is Leonid Belozorovich.

The results of international team work surpassed all expectations: "First Channel Eurasia" broadcasted film "Kasym" on May 9. In the evening prime time 4 episodes were shown. The film gained a share of 47.6% and a rating of 14.5%. If to the comparative figures into absolute, it would mean that the movie was seen by almost one million viewers.

At the same time, the film was broadcasted on TRC "Kazakhstan". From May 7 to 10 each day was shown one episode. On the first day of the broadcast the film gained a share of 9.2% and a rating of 2.2%, with an average daily share of 5.4% and rating of 0.9%. Other TV viewing figures were also significantly higher than average daily share of the channel.
