FILM.UA Distribution signed a contract with MigFilm company for selling "Angels of War", "Kasym" and "Inseparable" to Germany and Austria and the German-speaking area of Switzerland. These movies have also been sold to the UK during MIPTV.
Igor Storchak, director of FILM.UA Distribution, says:
"Sales of Ukrainian films in the territory of the former Soviet Union is no longer an oddity. This fact pleases us and we understand that it's not about the concatenation of circumstances, it's about film industry growth, and now FILM.UA products is highly competitive as European. "Inseparable" is a landmark project. It is interesting to our partners in the countries of the former Soviet Union, Europe and Asia".
Earlier in 2011, the German-speaking countries also acquired rights for war films "The Bomber" and "Black Sheep".
Germany has repeatedly expressed interest in the Ukrainian high-quality films, which is also confirmed by the awards that FILM.UA won at World Media Festival (Hamburg).
