For the second year, an international forum KIEV MEDIA WEEK becomes the main media partner of the second conference CG EVENT KYIV.
CG EVENT - an international conference bringing together professionals in various fields of computer graphics: animation, special effects in movies, computer games, architectural visualization, simulation of physical phenomena, realistic rendering.
The main event will be the film "Metro" in the making of which was implemented many complex visual effects. The authors of the project will appear on stage: Boris Lutsyuk and Amalgama FX studio will talk about the shooting, the studio MainRoad | Posts will make a series of unique performances dedicated to simulation of a huge amounts of water, and the company CGF will tell the public the story of pre-production of "Metro".
A separate block of CG EVENT KYIV was dedicated to Ukrainian market of post-production: its status, geographical location and interaction with other CG-markets. Presentations of the best Ukrainian teams will end up with a round table on the theme of «CG-Kiev. Between East and West".
In the foyer of the main hall one can check out technological innovations from Hewlett Packard and Intel. Company Chaos Group and The Foundry will demonstrate its latest developments in the field of software for creating computer graphics.
One of the CG EVENT KYIV key insight is participation of Adobe. Details are being kept secret, but the news that will be announced on May 25, will surprise even CG industry veterans.
Traditionally, the CG EVENT KYIV will end with prize distribution from Wacom for the best works, created during the CG EVENT.
