If you stare at the TV screen for a long time, you can see the broadcast of the show "Ukraine’s Got Talent". However, this will happen a bit later, because now they are shooting castings. All of this takes place in Kiev at FILM.UA Studio, just under the windows of my cabinet. And yet, the unauthorized penetration of my photographer to the site was quickly suppressed. Patience is my second name, so I suffered and waited. Finally approval was obtained, and here I am on the set.
But let us start with the judges. Their team is the same, only their images changed. So Slava Frolova appears as a blonde dressed in pink.

Yama was wearing a hat, that is unusual. And Igor Kondratyuk was very strict, which, however, was expected. But enough about the judges, we’ll see them quite often. But for many participants it was the last audition.

They began with rappers. I have to admit that judges are quiet ambiguous about them. First of all, because everyone who can’t sing, believes that he can rap. So it was with the first participant who wasn’t rapping, but rather shouted his recitative. That’s why Kondratyuk called him a "stupid rapper" and advised to "work with his speech as the diction is a disaster”.
Judges: "Your black tee shirt, your rap and your microphone simply annoy us". Almost a quote from Kirkorov.

And then on the stage appeared one of the magicians. They should be mentioned separately. There are no good or bad magicians. They are either magicians or clowns, who can irritate judges with their vain attempts. In particular, Slava Frolova. Victor Sakhno could not know about it, or just did not care. Moreover, he chose Oksana Marchenko as an assistant!
- Oksana, to make the trick we have to stand back-to-back, - asks Victor.
- Are you over 16? - Asked Oksana.
- Shall we dance? Well, at least "let’s try"... - asks the magician.
- You're not my type, - parries Marchenko.
In short, the host did not appear to be the best assistant, but, to the honor of Victor, he wasn’t confused, and continued his performance.

Do not worry, all the fifteen thousand times no one would show. The representatives will record it and Artyom will get the glory. Or won’t get...
While Artyom will do the exercises, representatives of the Ukrainian Book of Records will be drinking tea. Electronics will count the number of exercises.

Young ensemble from the village Yamnoe, Velikopisarevsky district of Sumy region, by definition has to draw Vlad Yama’s attention, as the young singer also named Vlad. To tell the truth, the lead singer Vlad immediately got lost on stage and on gentle questions gave monosyllabic replies. The longest sentence of the young musician was a toponym "Village Yamnoe, Velikopisarevsky district". Well, that’s ok. In the next show there will be a chance to be more relaxed and to say something longer.

Mom and six-years-old daughter showed acrobatic stunt called "Cowboys". My heart sank when the mother was holding the girl on her arm above the stage. They are amateurs, who train at home on the carpet, anything can happen. All went well, the hall applauded, but the judges behaved surprisingly calm. Like, we’ve already seen professional acrobats, this was weak...
When the poem begins and ends with the same words, it is called a frame. But when the shooting starts and ends with a bad rap - it's disgusting. In the first place, to the crew, the judges and the audience as the participants overestimate their diction, attraction, and talent in general.
Sasha aka Shurentsio, and also "future star of Youtube", he is a lecturer at a Polytechnic University. The guy from the start was able to poison judges and audience’s mind against himself. But he had a ready answer for any question and the judges had to put their two cents in.
However Anton really surprised the judges. Kondratyuk accused him of burring, which made him look ridiculous. But Anton found a way out. He read a long song to the music in which "r" has met only once.
All rappers were sent to rap to their friends. A big break was about to start. The wisest was Oksana Marchenko.
Judges, you need a break, as you're too strict with the participants - said the host.
So she told the truth and announced a break. She can be send straight to the "Pole Chudes" (Dream Field) to announce commercial break, as they run out ideas.
And then there was an improvised press conference with relaxed and smiling judges. They were given a cup of tea with lemon and forced to answer questions from journalists. And the questions were about:

Frolova: There is not much difference. There is a basic idea which the show holds to. This year, there will be more ordinary participants and less professionals. We are very happy about it.
Yama: And I have a hat...But I can’t show what is under it, because now I’m letting my plait grow. I’ll show it in the live broadcast. Maybe next time I’ll wear a sombrero. And after it a cocked hat.

But what interested me, were fatigue and impatience in Igor Kondratyuk’s gestures during casting. Therefore, I asked a direct question:
- Igor, it is clear that you have seen everything and everyone. Has your attitude to new entrants changed compared to the first season?
- In Kharkov my "yes" was rather an exception. Only two participants heard it. That's what you call the "change". We have seen the level. It is harder for the artists of the original genre to assert oneself. For example Slava Frolova hates magicians. But there are such magicians that I hate them also.
On a positive note I have left the judges to shoot for promo. Next in line was Ksenia Bolkun. "Ask me questions, I’ve been preparing for them all night long".
- At X-factor Tala Onischuk helped you. What about now?
- Yes, at X-factor I was with Tala. Now I have Lena Romanenko, and I am very pleased. She worked on the first, second and third season of “Ukraine’s got talent”, then she was head of the "farmer". I really wanted to take her. She is a project manager, and I’m the Head.
- At the "Dances" they decided to surprise the audience with special effects. What will be your surprise?
- We started this video technique. When everything can be seen in details. I haven’t really understood the process and asked the director how it will look like. We used this technique in the fourth season, and it will be in the fifth.
- Technically - nothing new will be used?
- Unfortunately, our desires are not keeping pace with technological progress, because nothing more than this was not invented.
- “Dances” in the fifth season changed its format. Will you change?
- Now it is quite early to say what will happen. We don’t prepare anything. We'll see how castings will be held, how judges will consult and what they’ll decide. All important decisions are always taken in the last night of the last audition. Last year we had 60 finalists. We opened the voting for the national favorite. There were 10 arresting personalities, who needed a push to get to the semifinals. But we made a national vote. Zhenya Khmara was the one who passed, very cool pianist, who was an ornament to the final. We did not plan this, before casting. When there is a meeting at three in the morning, and it becomes clear that ten people can’t be removed, then you come to interesting solutions.
- It makes sense that this year there will be a lot of foreigners, since it’s fifth season of the show...
- Who told you that? There will be not much foreigners. There are people who want to participate in our show. There are people from Georgia and Russia. But it’s hard to say that this will be a total trend, when we’ll be conquered by foreigners. If a person comes and says that he's not allowed to speak in his/hers own country, as nobody needs it, then it should be done here. I’m glad that Zhenya Litvinkovich participated in our show. Although Belarus has its own project "Academy of talents".
- Here at FILM.UA we’ve received phone calls from foreigners who went to your show and they were not allowed to enter the airport. Can you tell us more about it?
- We had someone who did not reach us. Kid had to dance on the border, because nobody believed that he was going to "Ukraine’s Got Talent". He is dark, looked like a foreigner. Therefore, border guards asked him to dance. And he had to.
- Will there be an emphasis on new skills or tricks?
- You always want to find something new, but not all people have the opportunity. Why do we have to announce a lot about the casting? No one was forced to come here, but there are people who do not know. Man in the last season - plumber - he did not know how to come to the casting, he lives in a village. And accidentally video with his performance was found by one of our staff members. So he came to us. There’s always a need in something new.
- It seems that judges are fed up with talents…
- When they joke that they sit together for five years. It’s hard when you saw great performances, to come back to the casting, where people come with trembling hands, rehearsing at home, it is very difficult to be objective. It's true. You’re always waiting for something new. We’ve recently talked about Shcherbakov and Popov, that the guys who took the gold clown in Monaco. They were very praised at the casting, but there wasn’t a feeling like "Wow, this is something new, you will win in Monaco".
I can say only one thing about what I’ve seen. If talents did surprise, only thanks to immediacy. But according to the creators of the show, this is the main thing. “Ukraine’s got talent” returns to people. Well, let's see what happens.
