Recently, it is becoming very difficult for event-managers to surprise their staff with interesting holidays or corporate events. Despite the fact that the market is full of different proposals, many of them have been tested by each employee individually, and are unlikely to amaze with its originality. FILM.UA Events in this regard differs a lot from other companies, as being a part of FILM.UA Group, it has not only interesting locations at its disposal, but also access to the world of film and television.
Not so long ago at FILM.UA Studio team building for employees of Syngenta took place. Within one business day the team had to write a screenplay of a short film, share the roles and shoot it. Of course, during the whole process they were accompanied by experts, who told about the basic theory and hinted at what has to be done.
At the first stage the main idea was discussed with the writer and the author of numerous publications, Ivan Timshyn. Creative group of Syngenta decided on the genre, and began to develop the script of a short detective comedy with a working title «Cabbage».
When the script was completed, producer, director, cameraman, soundman, clapper, stylist, and actors were chosen. And so it began: makeup, costumes, choosing props and locations...
First, we discussed the timing, and decided that the film will last for 5-6 minutes. Heated disputes began: we will work for almost 12 hours, but in the end we’ll get only few minutes of the film. But by the end of the shooting day it became apparent, that even 5-6 minutes of a high-quality film is very hard to do during one day. However, guys managed to create something new and special.
After the shooting, the team divided into two groups: those who wanted, watched how the editing is made, the other part went to inspect the studio.
Then evening buffet and screening of their own film at the cinema were waiting for the group.
