Shooting of the second block of the show «Taxi», produced by FILM.UA and ICTV television channel on the format of CBS, has come to an end. In general, the show will consist of 90 episodes, each of which is a separate funny story from the life of taxi drivers.
In every taxi work different kinds of people, from professors to former farmers. But this taxi will do better than any other due to its motley staff. A Chinese illegal immigrant Wan, a womanizer and a sloven Alex, a loser Edik, «girl-catastrophe» Lena, a charming Egor - all of them work under the direction of a greedy rowdy Valerik.
The cohesion of these people, their enthusiasm and flowing over the edge activity allow every problem to become insoluble, and situation, which seems to be safe, to turn into a totally uncontrolled one.
Originally for the series was used American format of the sitcom «Taxi», which at one time «blew up» America, and received 18 Emmy awards, and in 2002 entered «50 greatest TV shows of all times», according to TV Guide. But, in practice, so that series has not lost its relevance and was funny here and now, Ukrainian writers had to work hard. Creative association «The Empire of Good», which is directed by Anton Lirnyk and Andrey Zabiyaka, worked over the script.
I must say that the actors in the Ukrainian version gained general acceptance not only in movies, but in the world of humor. Sergei Belogolovtsev known to viewers from the show OSP-Studio. Sergei Rost famous by the show «Caution, modern!». Katerina Kisten remembered by the audience for his role in the TV series «Hello, Mother!», which, despite the melodramatic foundation was filled with jokes and comicality in the images of individual characters. And Yegor Krutogolov represents the generation of artists of the comic genre ComedyClub Ukraine, where he is known as Yegor Diesel.
After the shooting period, which lasted for more than a year - the film crew has become a close-knit family, living through some not very comical situations at the shooting area. Today, the creative team received its deserved holiday. It's a little «family type» holiday, where the group will remember how it all began and what it all came to.
