Reality show «Jailbirds», which was broadcasted on «ICTV» last year, returns to the screens!
Starting from Tuesday, April 3, viewers will be able to watch one more how former prisoners turn into law-abiding citizens on TV channel «ICTV».
«Jailbirds» will show the real world of prisoners and enable viewers to understand that anyone who stumbled once deserves to get his second chance. Former prisoners don’t stay at large for too long and it's not about deep-rooted habits. Law and society gives them a chance to get out of this quagmire. Project «Jailbirds» gives an opportunity to 10 men who only the day before filming got free after a long imprisonment.
Format :
A reality show co-produced by FILM.UA and «ICTV» is a cardinally new product on Ukraine’s television with its characters that have gone through the «crime and punishment», having tough experience behind them, such as imprisonment, serving tie in jail…And how they are determined to break off with the world of crime and to start from scratch in the legitimate environment. Among those who would give them a hand are the FILM.UA Television team, the project authors and the host Anatoliy Barbakaru. It is at his summer cottage that the programme characters and the Host himself would settle down.
Earlier we wrote that the Russian TV channel «Perets» has acquired the rights to adapt the reality show «Jailbirds». At the moment, the channel has already started shooting and the broadcast of the second season is scheduled for autumn 2012.
