"1+1 Ukraine" together with FILM.UA Group are working on the continuation of one of the most popular medical series. The premiere can be seen at the beginning of the new TV season on the "1+1 Ukraine" channel. Andriy Isaienko, Taras Tsymbaliuk, Oleksii Nahrudnyi, Oleksandra Liuta, Slava Krasovska, Oleksandra Epstein, Nina Naboka, Anatolii Tikhomirov, and Yaroslav Shakhtorin will return to their roles. Additionally, new characters will appear in the second season. On the show "Breakfast with 1+1," it was revealed which Ukrainian actress has joined the cast of the beloved medical series.
A new ultrasound doctor, Oksana Kondratiuk, will join the hospital. She will be played by Ukrainian theater and film actress Nadiia Levchenko. Despite already having a medical series in her filmography, Nadiia was nervous about filming with newborns.
As the actress confessed in an interview for "Breakfast with 1+1," she got her first experience working with such small actors on the set of "New Life" She still worries about holding a baby correctly and not hurting them.
"I am a mother myself, but my son is 21 years old, and I have already forgotten what it's like. This fear is already fading," Nadiia shared.
To better portray the doctor, the actress is additionally studying medical literature.
"I have a lot of medical literature at home. Firstly, when I became a mother, I started getting interested in medicine, and when I started filming, I wanted to understand what I was talking about," the actress shared.
Nadiia Levchenko said that she currently lives in two cities. Between filming, she manages to perform in the theater in Ivano-Frankivsk. She says that such a rhythm is already usual for her.
"For the last 10 years, this is how I live. I have a personal record: 21 nights in a row on the train... In Frankivsk, the theater is developing; I have been successfully working there for 15 years, and it does not prevent me from filming in series and movies in Kyiv. There is no need to change cities for this," the actress noted.
