• 12.04.2022

The organizers of the LINOLEUM contemporary animation and media art festival are aiming to host it in September 2022, just as previously planned.

The international festival of contemporary animation and media arts LINOLEUM has been held annually in Kyiv since 2014. The goal of the festival is the promotion of independent animation in Ukraine.

This year it was planned for September. And now, during the war, the organizers are not giving up on holding it as planned: “We don't yet know exactly where and how it will take place, but we are still selecting and preparing programs and are looking forward to seeing your works.”

The festival accepts animation produced between 2021 and 2022, not exceeding 30 minutes in length. This year, the organizers created a separate category for films made by teenagers.

All submissions are collected through the platform:

The organizers also note a change in the theme of the festival and promise to announce the new one very soon. Please note that the deadline for submissions is May 21.

We are also accepting short works supporting Ukraine against the Russian invasion. The duration should not exceed 10 seconds, 1920×1080 in mp4 format. You can send materials to the following email address:
