Favorite characters of crazy trilogy come back: Crazy Neighbors comedy series to be shown on 1+1

1+1 TV channel together with FILM.UA Group and KyivstarTV are working on the first original series Crazy Neighbors for KyivstarTV.

The subscribers of the KyivstarTV will see the series firstly. After this the it will also shows at 1+1 channel.In the comedy, the audience will see the story of Seredyuk family not during endless extreme weddings but in “peaceful times” though such life can hardly be called peaceful. Crazy Neighbors series will consist of 24 episodes, and the audience will see not only familiar faces but also new characters. 

According to the plot, Vasyl Seredyuk’s calm and ordered life is destroyed when a new husband of his neighbor Oksana appears. Unexpectedly it turns out to be his schooltime enemy Taras Blaschykovsky. Old offenses rekindle and grow into crazy opposition. The life of other film characters is also evolving: Francois starts working in a Ukrainian clinic, and unstoppable Olka and Ashot will start a business war with their competitors. Plus, this is just the beginning of a “crazy story” 1+1 audience will see soon.  

The main filming process has just finished; meanwhile the series team shared fun facts about Crazy Neighbors comedy. 

1. Crazy Neighbors is the first original series for Kyivstar TV platform and the first series based on the most successful Ukrainian film franchise.  
2. The actor playing the role of Vasyl Seredyuk, Nazar Zadniprovsky, is really somewhat similar to his character in real life, namely in his attitude towards his wife and children, Ukraine, Ukrainian culture and family values.  
3. All dishes in the film are real. “The menu” is chosen by an art director depending on the event to be filmed. The food is prepared right before filming. Only alcohol on the table is fake. Instead of cognac, we see black tea, and instead of vodka, water.  
4. When filming the fight with a cake, the crew had to go through three cakes on the set.  
5. Filming process is just as fun for actors as for the audience a bit later. The actors on the set constantly crack jokes and tell funny stories from other projects. Besides, during so many years of joint work on the franchise everyone has become close friends.

The lead roles in the new project are played by favorite actors of 1+1 audience: Nazar Zadniprovsky, Lesya Samayeva, Jimmy Voha-Voha, Polina Vasylyna, Yuriy Horbunov, Oleksiy Potapenko (Potap), Kateryna Rubashkina, Vyacheslav Khostikoyev, Kateryna Fayn, Vira Kobzar, Inna Prykhovko, Aram Arzumanyan, Vitaliy Ivanchenko, Volodymyr Mykolayenko, Yevhen Ovcharov, and Dmytro Surzhikov.  

The series producers are Iryna Kostyuk (FILM.UA Group), Nadiia Korotushka (FILM.UA Group), and Maksym Kryvytskyi (1+1). The project director is Oleg Borschevsky. The cameraman is Maksym Bayev. The author of idea is Yuriy Horbunov, and the screenwriters are Mykola Kutsyk, Yaroslav Sten, Bohdan Hatsylyak, and Kyrylo Tymchenko.
