Application Period Open for Documentary Pitching Workshop in Kyiv, July 2021
The ADAMI Media Prize for Cultural Diversity in Eastern Europe is cooperating with the Polish documentary platform Pitch the Doc to conduct a four-day seminar for filmmakers on how to present a documentary film project, how to structure the film proposal, pitching package or project presentation, and how to efficiently pitch it to the international decision makers. The workshop will take place at FILM.UA Studio.
Participants will be coached by international experts, producers and executives of European film festivals. Filmmakers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine are invited to apply for the workshop by submitting their documentary film projects on cultural diversity, ethnic/religious minorities or migration, at any production stage (only with available video material).
The workshop will include a maximum of 12 projects, with two participants per winning project (director and producer) selected to attend. The workshop participants' projects will be included into the Pitch the Doc online platform, representing an efficient tool to promote the work among international decision-makers.
The workshop will be held 27-30 July in the FILM.UA Group studio in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Applications are being accepted from 17 May - 7 June!
The winning participants will be announced on 28 June.
