Cherkasy military action drama becomes available on the internet. Starting from September, the film will be published on such legal online services as MEGOGO, SWEET.TV, OLL.TV, VOLIA, Takflix and 1+1 VIDEO.

In February, the country’s cinemas were screening Cherkasy feature created by MKK Film Service with the support of Ukrainian State Film Agency. The film tells about the three-week resistance of a crew from mine-sweeper with the same name during the events in the Crimea in 2014. However, due to the COVID pandemic Cherkasy theatrical distribution was cut short, and only in July, after the lockdown measures were relaxed, the theatrical screenings of the film were resumed.

After the end of theatrical screenings, the life cycle of Cherkasy did not come to end. In the first month of autumn this military action drama becomes available for viewing on popular online platforms which become more and more important in quarantine reality. On September 1 the film can be acquired for an unlimited term at   MEGOGO, SWEET.TV, OLL.TV. Starting from September 15 after paying a fixed sum and during the set time frame the film can be viewed on VOLIA1+1 VIDEO, Takflix, MEGOGO, SWEET.TV and OLL.TV.

“We are very happy that the Ukrainians will finally be able to watch Cherkasy online. The film distribution was suspended due to the lockdown, and many viewers who planned to watch the film haven’t managed to make it to the cinemas. And when this chance appeared, many people still couldn’t bring themselves to come back to the cinemas. During this whole time we received questions when it is going to be possible to watch Cherkasy legally online, as this is still a rare case for Ukrainian films. And now this chance has appeared! I hope you enjoy the film!” says Igor Storchak, CEO and FILM.UA Distribution.

FILM.UA Distribution (FILM.UA Group) is responsible for feature distribution.
