On the 14th of September, at 20:15 on STB channel, a premiere of a new historical saga There Will Be Humans produced by FILM.UA on commission from the Ministry of Culture and Information policy of Ukraine will take place. It is a film adaptation of the groundbreaking novel by Anatoly Dimarov that tells about human destinies at a turn of the 20th century.
Today, the creators of the series have presented a poster, an official trailer of the project, and a dedicated promo website with all about the project, its team, cast, characters, and curious facts about the filming process.

Also, four teasers are coming up in a promo campaign that are going to acquaint the audience with the characters, plot lines, twists, and turns of events.
“It may seem that the videos are telling the stories of Ukrainians back from the 20th century, but they tell even more about us today. We still encounter the same problems, worries, and dramatic events, just as our grate-grandparents did. These are the stories about us, Ukrainians, living and fighting, keeping our spirits up in war. It’s about love that prevails: love to our country and each other. And while it exists, Ukraine and Ukrainians will endure,” - comments Lidia Pankiv, the director for broadcasting promotion of the STB channel.
The saga will show prodigious moments of our history: the Great War, revolution, collectivization, and Holodomor. There are 12 episodes introducing 12 main heroes and their lives: passionate love, dramatic story arcs, and eternal human values. The lives of people 100 years ago that resonate with ours today.
“This is the history of our country, of our grandparents and great-grandparents. It is complex, multifaceted, and not always positive, as they had to endure hardships that broke their way of life, they had to find their paths and to keep on going regardless. We have to know this history and to extract the wisdom from the tails of our families. Because today we do live in a tumultuous changing world, and the events of the turn of the last century give an invaluable perspective on it. There Will Be Humans is a family saga where everyone can find a story close to heart and recognize their own relatives in the characters of the series,” -tells Olesya Lukyanenko, the creative producer of the project.
