We Support UN Global Compact

FILM.UA Group has published Communication On Progressreport about its activities in the framework of UN Global Compact

FILM.UA Group has reported for the year during which the company has been a member of UN Global Compact Local network in Ukraine. The document is aimed at raising social responsibility among entrepreneurs, drawing attention to globalization issues as well as to the reconstruction and stabilization of economy. Besides, UN Global Compact broadcasts 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The report presents the main vectors of Group activities correlating with the Principles of UN Global Compact, in particular Human Rights, Environment and Anti-corruption.

I am happy to confirm that FILM.UA Group doesn’t just support but actively follows ten principles of UN Global Compact on human rights, labor relations, environmental protection and fight against corruption. We believe that it is vital for preserving civilization.

As a creative business we bear huge responsibility for broadcasting values correlating with those of UN Global Compact. It is with delight that we present our report for 2019 which describes and analyzes the processes of integrating sustainable development principles in our business strategy, projects we produce, culture and everyday activities.

Just a reminder: this year Sergiy Sozanovsky, FILM.UA Group co-founder, has become a member of UN Global Compact Supervision Board in Ukraine.

Ten principles of UN Global Compact


Human rights

Principle 1. Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.

Principle 2. Businesses should make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.



Principle 3. Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

Principle 4. Businesses should uphold the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour.

Principle 5. Businesses should uphold the effective abolition of child labour.

Principle 6. Businesses should uphold the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.



Principle 7. Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.

Principle 8. Businesses should undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.

Principle 9. Businesses should encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies



Principle 10. Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
