The Ukrainian noir Hide and Seek and sci-fi series Alive were presented at EFM

The first major presentation of TV projects from the Eastern Europe was conducted within the framework of Berlinale Series, which is traditionally held at EFM.

The moderator, Kamila Zlatushkova (founder of Serial Killer TV Festival, which official program included Hide and Seek noir in September 2019), described the Eastern Europe as a region with enormous potential. This statement was supported by new worthy projects: Success, the first Croatian drama HBO Adria; The Sleepers, the Czech spy drama; Ultraviolet, the Polish project (available on Netflix), and Hide and Seek, the Ukrainian noir.

CEE tips section featured talents from the region, and among them – Iryna Hromozda, Hide and Seek Director and Serhii Krutko, the series Camera Director. And within the In Development section, Kamila told about the best TV projects to be launched in our region, including Alive sci-fi drama, which is in development under the supervision of two producers, Olena Malkova and Kateryna Vyshnevska. The Berlinale Series also hosted an official Hide and Seek screening. It is the first time the Ukrainian series were included into the program of a famous festival.
