This trailer embodies huge work of the film crew. We have shown the gist of the story but still preserved some intrigue. Now, as I am watching the final version, I feel incredible, fantastic emotions. In this video, there are two years of people’s lives, the people who worked diligently on the film to tell this story,” said Sergiy Chebotarenko, film director.

This is a very strong and motivating story and I really want as many viewers as possible to see it, especially young people. This is about not giving up in challenging situations, believing and confidently striding towards your dream and happiness. I am proud of our professional team, thankful to our partners and invite everyone to the cinemas starting from March 19!” says Egor Olesov, film producer.

“If I were not me,” sings Alyona Alyona in the first part of the trailer, echoing the main theme of the film. A young Ukrainian track and field athlete Oksana lives in a small town and has a big dream – to make it to the Olympic Games. Her career in sports is just starting but due to a terrible car accident the girl is gravely injured and almost loses her eyesight. It seems that now Oksana has lost all chances not just to make it to the coveted Olympic Games but also to live a normal life. However, the girl is not going to give up and plans to prove that there are no obstacles on the way to a real dream.

This is an example of real love. It doesn’t matter in which time and family you’re born, doesn’t even matter which body you get. It is important how you treat yourself. Faith and love make even the weakest better so I am really happy that we have the chance to find out about this life story and dive deep into it, relive it together with the protagonist and take something away with us. Dreams come true thanks to us!” said Alyona Alyona, singer.

Pulse is a sports drama biopic based on a real story of Ukrainian champion Oksana Boturchuk. The filming of Pulse was completed in the beginning of last fall.

The official partner of the first Ukrainian feature about an athlete’s life is Kyivstar, national mobile operator.

The producer of Pulse is KINOROB with the support of Ukrainian Ministry of Culture.
