The poster depicts the characters Ukrainians already know and love from the first part: Vasyl Seredyuk, director of local lore museum, the crazy couple of Olka and Ashot, lieutenant-colonel Popadyuk, master of ceremonies Nazariy Zapukhlyak, and even Oleg Vynnyk – but at the same time the main intrigue of the film is preserved: who will play the roles of the newlyweds in the second part of the film, and what kind of son-in-law should Vasyl prepare for?
“Except this main poster we also prepare a series of character posters for all vivid personalities in the film, in particular for the priests father Yevlampiy and deacon Pylypon who became the favorites of the audience in the first part. In the sequel, we haven’t just developed their comedy line but also added a third character, choir boy Kindrat: the crazy duo of Potap and Monatik has been complemented by Oleksiy Zavgorodniy (Pozitiv) who will also serve as a music producer for the film,” said Yuriy Gorbunov, film producer, also playing the role of Nazariy Zapukhlyak in the film.

We would also like to remind you that filming of Crazy Wedding 2 will last until the end of September in Kyiv and its suburbs. Just like the previous time, the film is directed by Vlad Dykyi and produced by Prototype Production and FILM.UA Group. The co-producer is again MOZGI Entertainment. MMD UA and FILM.UA Distribution are in charge of the film’s distribution on Ukrainian territory.
Another note: the film won at the 11th pitching of Ukrainian State Film Agency and obtained financial support from the state. The first part enjoyed tremendous success: the film didn’t just make up for all expenses and become profitable after its distribution but will also remain in history as the first one the producers of which returned all provided funds to Ukrainian State Film Agency with interest.
The premiere for sequel of the comedy with the biggest box office in 2018 is scheduled close to New Year, on December 25.
