The Rising Hawk, the most expected wide-scale historical action feature directed by Akhtem Seitablayev (produced by Kinorob and Cinema Day with the support of Ukrainian State Film Agency), and Visa, global leader in development and support of payment technologies, have announced their long-term partnership in marketing campaign and theatrical release of the Ukrainian film to be presented in the cinemas onOctober 10 this year.

The teams are planning wide-scale informational partnership with a range of joint projects under its auspices. One such project would be a big photoshoot with the looks from The Rising Hawk at the locations of FILM.UA Group where the movie was filmed.

The artistic designers built the biggest set for the film here, a mountain ridge 200 meters long, 12 meters high and 10 meters wide. Such considerable and expensive set is an almost unprecedented case for Ukrainian film industry. This and other advantages of the project impressed the future film partners from Visa, an innovational leader in payment industry.

The sponsorship project of The Rising Hawk historical action feature and Visa wononly grab attention of millions of Ukrainians but also will serve as source of unforgettable impressions about the film and the world of cinema in general for Visa cardholders,” says Yulia Pylypenko, head of sponsorship and product placement at FILM.UA Group.

Visa is a global leader in payment technologies providing fast, convenient and safe payments for billions of users in more than 200 countries of the world. The fact that the global international brand has believed in Ukrainian national cinema based on a novella from a Ukrainian classical author testifies to the great professionalism of Ukrainian cinematographers and huge potential of the film not only among local audience but also for international distribution.

For Visait is important to maintain emotional connection with the users of our payment solutions and to actively participate in the social and cultural dimension of the countrylife. That is why we are deviously exploring the entertainment territory. Supporting Ukrainian film industry is a new and interesting experience for us which, firstly, allows us to create a new valuable experience for our partners and Visa cardholders and, secondly, inspires us as a leader of payment technologies industry for creating new solutions and collaborations. We are thankful to THE RISING HAWK creative team for an opportunity to get involved in this big historical project and to unite Ukrainians not only with the help of Visa innovative payment solutions but also through emotions, power and irresistible magic of the cinema world,” says Svitlana Chyrva, Visa regional manager in Ukraine and Moldova, acting regional manager in Belarus.
