The most talented Ukrainian acrobats, gymnasts, dancers and circus artists will meet on one stage, with their performances accompanied by fantastic visual effects. But except the show, the audience visiting the pavilion will be in for one more surprise from The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila cartoon – a large photo zone with full-size figures of all main characters. In the Gifts Corporation pavilion, a Christmas market will be functioning starting from December 9; along with its partner, Kyiv Book House, the project team has prepared a joint stand – the magic library! This is a cozy fairytale spot where under the warm glow of lamps the visitors will be able to have a rest and read some books.  This stand will present a book souvenir line developed specially for the premiere of The Stolen Princess: Ruslan and Lyudmila. The fair visitors will be able to purchase a new edition of the original poem by Alexander Pushkin “Ruslan and Lyudmila” in Russian and English languages, a shortened exposition of the poem in Russian and Ukrainian, and a sketchbook for drawing. Besides, theme activities dedicated to the cartoon are planned at the stand; there are meetings with project team, competitions, and festive events.

About the film. This wonderful story happened in the age of valiant knights, beautiful princesses, and battling sorcerers. Ruslan, a wandering artist dreaming to become a knight, met beautiful Mila and fell in love with her; he didn’t even suspect that she is the King’s daughter. However, the lovers’ happiness wasn’t meant to last too long. Chоrnomor, the evil sorcerer, appeared in a magic vortex and stole Mila right before Ruslan’s eyes to transform her power of love into his own magic power. Without further ado, Ruslan sets out on a chase after the stolen princess to overcome all obstacles and to prove that real love is stronger than magic.
