The first episode of WhizzKids has been produced by Animagrad animation studio. The director of The Guitar episode is Yevhen Yermak; its producer, Egor Olesov; screenwriters, Anton Bazelinsky, Yevhen Yermak and Sasha Ruban; and production designer, Alina Kharchenko.
The project of the first episode of the series became one of the winners of the 8th competitive selection of Ukrainian State Film Agency, having received state financial support in the amount of 435,472 UAH, i.e. half of the total production cost.
WhizzKids is an edutainment animated series for children aged two and up. The goal of the series is to help parents answer the questions about the world and things around which the youngsters ask about 300-400 times a day. The pilot episode tells about the most widespread musical instrument in the world, the guitar, and about the way it was invented and created. In the following episodes, along with the cartoon lead characters, the wiz kids will visit countries and continents, meet the most distinguished personalities of different times and even steal a glance at other planets.
The authors of the series plan for WhizzKids to be a multi-episode animated series.
