FILM.UA Group at the AFM: The Stolen Princess Goes to Latin America

The Stolen Princess animated feature film, in production by Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group), has been pre-sold to Ledafilms for all countries of Latin America at the American Film Market. 

Alejandro Leda, Ledafilms President said, “We attended The Stolen Princess screening yesterday at the AFM, and we were very impressed by the quality of Ukrainian production of an animated film. The Stolen Princess will be released in the theatres of Latin America, and I am sure, that our audience would love the film.”

Yesterday, FILM.UA Group announced new deals with Poland, Romania, Iran, Vietnam and Cambodia. 

Previously, rights for The Stolen Princess were pre-sold to China, Middle East and North Africa, Mongolia, South Korea, Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, France, French-speaking Europe, French-speaking Africa.

In Ukraine, the theatrical distributor is Ukrainian Film Distribution; TV rights are acquired by Novy TV Channel.

The second screening of The Stolen Princess at the American Film Market will take place on November 5, 3:30 PM at ArcLight 6. Our suite is 650 at Loews Hotel.

The Stolen Princess (85 min), now in production, is set for release on March 07, 2018.

Synopsis:

This wonderful story happened in the age of valiant knights, beautiful princesses, and battling sorcerers. Ruslan, a wandering artist dreaming to become a knight, met beautiful Mila and fell in love with her; he didn’t even suspect that she is the King’s daughter. However, the lovers’ happiness wasn’t meant to last too long. Chernomor, the evil sorcerer, appeared in a magic vortex and stole Mila right before Ruslan’s eyes to transform her power of love into his own magic power. Without further ado, Ruslan sets out on a chase after the stolen princess to overcome all obstacles and to prove that real love is stronger than magic.
