Cannes, France, October 2017 – As part of their strategy to create and co-develop new content across all platforms on a global level, IM Global Television’s Unscripted and Alternative division has entered a co-development deal with leading Ukrainian media group FILM.UA Group, it was announced by IM Global Television’s President of Unscripted & Alternative, Phil Gurin.
FILM.UA Group develops and produces high-end non-scripted content and software using MoCap & Digital cinematography, VR and 360° game-engines and AR, in addition to their scripted content that encompasses drama, feature films and animation. Projects produced by FILM.UA Group have been sold in over 100 territories and can be seen on both Amazon Prime and Netflix VOD platforms. FILM.UA Group has unique expertise and established connections in CIS and CEE markets, having operated in these markets for 15 years. Some of FILM.UA’s most notable projects include crime procedural drama The Sniffer, which is Available on Netflix; Red Queen, which was listed on Amazon’s Top 100 Most Watched Videos; feature film Battle for Sevastopol, which was acquired by 20th Century Fox; award-winning docu-drama series The History of Criminalistics; and World of Humans, a unique format that brings a twist to the talk show genre, using MoCap in creating 3D character animation.

Gurin recently announced a co-development joint venture with French powerhouse production company Newen and co-production development deals with award-winning format-focused production company Spark Media, factual entertainment production company Double Yellow TV, and Denise Harrop’s 3 Magic Monkies.
