Starting from April 1, Ukrainian satellite TV channels FILMUADrama and BOLT will become available for the audience in the Republic of Moldova.
“Content produced by FILM.UA is well-known beyond Ukraine. Now our TV channels have also crossed the border. This is a very important and responsible moment for all of us as the Republic of Moldova became the first country of our ‘expansion’ but surely not the last one,” says Viktor Shkrobot, director for management and coordination of paid TV channels and digital content in FILM.UA Group. “We are positive that Moldovan audience will like our TV channels because they are based on a recognizable content. We hope to announce more international news very soon.”
“When creating BOLT, a TV channel with real men’s content, we had ambitious goals before us – to conquer the global TV market. The first step has been made. Detective and military series have always been StarMedia’s strong point, and the fact that our channel is watched not only in Ukraine confirms that. To build further strategy for channel development, it is also essential to study the audience in neighboring countries,” says Aleksey Shuldeshov, general producer of Star Media channels and BOLT executive director.
Just a reminder: in October 2015, the first satellite TV channel of Ukrainian series FILMUADrama started its work; the channel is based on the content produced by FILM.UA Group.
In June 2016, another satellite channel BOLT started broadcasting; its programming is based on the content produced by two leading Ukrainian film studios, FILM.UA Group and Star Media.
Apart from favorite Ukrainian films and series, the program concept of both channels offers the audience cycles of entertainment and theme programs about film and TV production, exclusive interviews with famous actors, interesting stories from film sets, and first-hand news.
