Today we are bidding farewell to our friend, colleague, and a great man – Vladimir Viktorovich Issat. He passed away on the night of June 18th to 19th, 2016, in the 61st year of his life. We are all nerveless to recognize the fact, to believe it…

The whole life of Vladimir Viktorovich was related to cinema. He finished the Leningrad State Institute of theatre, music, and cinematography (now St. Petersburg State Theatre Academy) and has been working on Belarussian television for a while. A screenwriter and director, he has created a number of documentaries.

In 2006 Vladimir Viktorovich moved to Kyiv and started working as a creative producer at FILM.UA Group. Our best and highly acclaimed TV series were released under his guidance: “Lawless Heart” (2007), “The Neighbours” (2010), “The Road to Nowhere” (2010), “Doctor Baby Dust” (2012, 2013 – season 1 & 2), “The Trap” (2013), “Light o’Love” (2014), “Personal Record” (2014). In 2015-2016 as FILM.UA Group’s leading television producer he managed the production process of such TV series as “The Past is Yet to Come”, “Major and Magic”, “Baby Boxes”, “15 Vladimirskaya Str.”

Not once has the hard work of Vladimir Viktorovich been distinguished by the Teletriumph National Television Award. But it was the recognition and love of viewers and colleagues that mattered most. Everyone who had a chance to work with Vladimir Viktorovich knew him as a wonderful producer, but first and foremost he was a great man. We will all greatly miss Vladimir Viktorovich, the man of a glorious sense of humor, of love to life, great mind and endless optimism. The man who would always lend a helping hand, never leave anybody in the lurch, the man to always rely on. The man, who cannot be thought of in past tense…

“I lost my close friend. I lost him just when it seemed that we had already won and that the hardest times were behind. Day after day we were waiting for him in Kyiv at work, but somewhere someone who has our fates in his hands, probably needed him more. And nothing is left for us but memory of this radiant Man, and our love”, said Victor Mirsky, the General Producer of FILM.UA Group.

FILM.UA Group expresses sincere condolences to the dearest and nearest of Vladimir Viktorovich, his wife Olga, his son Artem, his friends and colleagues.
