On May 15, FILM.UA Group closed a deal on The Stolen Princess distribution in Poland. The rights are acquired by Polish media group Polsat during the Marché du Film.
“We are impressed by the high quality of video footage, and the story itself is very captive,” Magdalena JANECZEK, Polsat Licensing Department Director comments the acquisition. “The film will be widely released in cinemas in Poland. As a media group we are empowered to provide the most effective promotional support for The Stolen Princess,” adds Ms. JANECZEK.
Earlier at the Marché du Film FILM.UA Group has signed a contract on The Stolen Princess rights distribution to ProFilms (Bulgaria), Cinema 24 (Iran) and KLB (France).
The Stolen Princess is an animated 3D feature, currently in production at Animagrad animation studio (a part of FILM.UA Group). Loosely based on timeless classical poem by Aleksandr Pushkin about love and magic, this story has been adapted for the international market and wide family audience. The project’s delivery date in Ukraine is set on the end of 2017.
