VIRTUAL REALITY BY FILM.UA Group: Music, Fashion, and Extreme Sports

The group plans to produce content filmed with the help of VR360 in various genres and themes, including fiction and documentary web series, gaming , sports, fashion, and music content. This technology is also suitable for creating extreme videos because VR360 does not confine the viewer to the frame; just like the reality, it allows them to concentrate their attention on any detail of interest in the surrounding area.

The content published today demonstrates these and other possibilities of VR360 technology.

1.  Recordings of songs Bilshe (More) and Podykh (Breath) performed by Jamala during her concert in Atlas club on March 18.

2. Coverage for the Insiders project, its expedition climbing the chimney of Central Heat and Power Plant No 6. The chimney’s height is 270 meters; it is the second tallest construction in Kyiv after Syrets TV tower.

3. Coverage from Parkovy congress & exhibition center (former helicopter pad) from the show of Olga Navrotskaya’s collection entitled Love Attack, fall-winter 2016/17.

“We have long been experimenting with VR360. So we decided it was time to actively move in this direction. It is with greatest pleasure that we present the videos filmed during very different events: a concert, a fashion show and a risky expedition to the highest and the most inaccessible bridge in Kyiv. You will see for yourself that though the videos are totally different, they share one thing in common: the viewer becomes not just an outside observer but a full participant of the story. In the comfort of your own home, you can visit the concert of a talented singer, see the finest details of the fashion show and appreciate the scale of helicopter pad it was held at, or go up one of the highest Kyiv points together with the daring guys from Insiders project. It is obvious that we are not going to stop here: the work with VR360 continues because we are sure like the rest of the world is: it is not just a new trend, it is a new video language which will overturn the film industry,” says Yuriy Prilipko, Postmodern CEO.

“We plan to use VR360 for recording backstage of additional spring shooting for The Stronghold. We are convinced that the complicated process of filming mass scenes with total immersion thanks to this technology will not just be interesting as a stand-alone project but will also serve as a good promotion campaign for the movie,” comments Yegor Olesov, The Stronghold producer.
