Battle for Sevastopol/ Red Sniper is in TOP-10 of the most popular feature films on iTunes in Germany

Biopic about Lyudmila Pavlichenko, the deadliest female sniper in history Battle for Sevastopol (original title) / Red Sniper (German adaptation title), produced by FILM.UA Group and New People production company, and distributed by Meteor Film is in TOP-10 on iTunes in Germany and featured on its main page. Moreover, Red Sniper is now also available on key EST/TVOD platforms:  Amazon Video, Microsoft Xbox, Google Play, Maxdome, Videociety, Vodafone / Kabel Deutschland and Videoload / Telekom. 

On March, 18 Red Sniper was also locally released on DVD and Blu-Ray.

Battle for Sevastopol has been also distributed to France, Austria, China, Hong Kong, Turkey, Japan, Poland, Bulgaria, South Korea and seven countries of former Yugoslavia. Also there are negotiations on film distribution to USA, Canadian, Italian and Scandinavian territories.

Synopsis: The war catches a young student Lyudmila Pavlichenko off-guard in Odessa. She volunteers in the army and is moved to the front line after a brief stint in the sniper school. Her natural marksmanship and ability to keep calm under duress make her a true sharpshooter. Her personal hit-list is over 309 names long. But Lyudmila is severely shot, and her lover is killed in one of the battles. The girl barely manages to leave Sevastopol and is sent to USA as part of the government mission. In the White House, she is introduced to Eleanor Roosevelt, and her speech to the press makes her a household name in the states. “Gentlemen, you’ve been hiding behind my back for way too long” — two months after her famous speech, the Allies open the Second Front.
