Poor People by Solomiya Tomaschuk, who won production support grant in 2014, has been accepted for the 2016 Short Film Corner. Since 2004, short film producers and directors have chosen the Short Film Corner as the place to present their films, make meetings reality and take decisive steps for their future careers.
The film will be available throughout the whole event in a video library (from May 16 to May 22). In 2015 there were 2420 shorts that represented 105 countries and gathered more than 26000 views.
Poor People was screened in the out-of-competition program at Molodist Festival, as well as was nominated at Mongolia International Film Festival and was part of the International Competition at Leiden International Film Festival.
In 2015 the production support grat from FILM.UA Faculty went to a 4th year student Katerina Demskaya for her project "Date of death".
The shooting of the film has ended and now it's being edited. After the editing, the film returns to FILM.UA for color grading and final post-production.
