February 2nd Skill Bill Start will hold a master class "Transmedia projects: storytelling, platforms, interaction of the elements". Expert of the master class is Belén Santa- Olalla, Senior Creative Consultant at Conducttr, London (UK). She will present a case on the promotion of Game of Thrones in Spain in the form of a transmedia project "19 Kingdoms".

Transmedia projects are developed on the basis of a multi-platform, where storytelling is built in such a way to bring you the world or a story of the project from different angles and in different forms. An integral part of a transmedia project is the interactive component. A platform for the development of the project can be all possible social networks, gaming platforms, video platforms and so on. Transmedia project may include a book, a series, a computer game, social network profiles, mobile applications. Transmedia projects increase interest among advertisers as a mean of direct communication and accurate access to a customer.

Belén Santa-Olalla - Senior Creative Consultant at Conducttr (Transmedia Storyteller Ltd)

Belén Santa-Olalla is a Creative Consultant at Transmedia Storyteller Ltd., London . Along with Robert Pratten, she has done consulting work for various transmedia corporations in Los Angeles, Mexico , Sao Paulo , Perth, Lima , Madrid , apart from working as Conducttr Product Manager. In Spain, she led the transmedia experience 19reinos.com for the launch of Game of Thrones 4th season on Canal+ . She also works as docent collaborator in post graduate programs dedicated to the study of transmedia storytelling and branded content in Editorial Unit , INESDI , UC3M – DRAFTFCB . She is founder of Meetup Transmedia Madrid, directs the Spanish section of Transmedia Podcast and she’s the author of the blog Universo Transmedia.

Graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Complutense, and a BA degree in Media Practice and Theory in Sussex University, Brighton, she has been working in the field of narrative development as stage director, producer, teacher, actress and creativity coach since 2003. She has also worked in the Department of Marketing and Market Research at UCM doing research on the use of second screens with on-device technologies, and also in the field of Mobility Solutions in Creadsmedia.
