Shooting period for a 12-episode melodrama with elements of thriller "Forget and Recall" has ended. The series is produced by FILM.UA. The shooting took place in Kiev and its region from June to October 2015. The main roles are played by Alexander Kobzar Anna Vasilieva. Directed by Maksim Mekheda.
A wealthy fiancee with impeccable manners who starts from elegant courtship moving to a posh wedding – all that would be the stuff of dreams for many girls, let alone a 17-year-old Natasha raised in an orphanage. Is there something hiding behind the facade of this dolce vita? Having found a diary of her predecessor, the first wife of businessman and politician Leonid Mazov, she finds out that this woman died in strange circumstances. Natasha understands that disappearing without a trace is her only chance to stay alive. So the girl stages her death, but seven years later her past comes back to haunt her…
In the film, Alexander Kobzar faces quite a difficult task - not only to embody the on-screen image of mentally unhealthy person, but to clearly show the transformation of the main character as he gradually loses control of himself and goes mad. "According to the story my character has symptoms of schizophrenia, however, its not obvious by his actions, so I had to make a room for this disease somehow, - says Kobzar. - I am ready to shoot, I searched through a lot of literature on psychology and watched a few movies to understand the logic and principle of thinking of such people".
If the leading male role was immediately set to play, casting for the role of Natasha continued. They tried many Ukrainian actresses, but agreed on Anna Vasilieva. According to the producer of the project Katerina Shvets, Anya was first noticed during the casting for "Inseparable", but only now had the opportunity to work together.
Leonid Mazov's acres - the protagonist of melodrama "Forget and Recall" - were shot in Mezhyhiria! Such location was searched for a long time. In preproduction there were lots of options and there were hesitations to shoot there. Mezhyhiria is just one of the 300 locations claimed.
Premiere of the film is planned for spring 2016.
