Magazine "Novoye Vremya" (New Time) presented a special project called "The Art of Change: TOP 100 people of culture". Within the project expert group named the ranking of the most significant people in the field of culture in such categories as "Art", "Music", "Books", "Theatre and Cinema" and "Managers and Patrons".
As noted in the magazine, artists represented in TOP 100 artists - new face of Ukraine, far from officialdom and ethnic provincialism, country of free people, able to think creatively and inspire the world with their talents. Sergei Sozanovsky, founder of FILM.UA Group, entered the list of the most important people in the category of "Managers and Patrons".
The purpose of the project TOP 100 people of culture - to draw attention of compatriots to national artistic space and its symbolic figures. "According to NV, the broadest possible cultural environment is as important for the country as its economic growth, - said Anna Moroz, deputy editor in chief at Novoye Vremya. - 30 experts helped us making a list of one hundred cultural innovators. TOP 100 turned out multi-faceted, and there is no character, which could be compared by personal cultural contribution to any other".
