Action in the new Ukrainian film series takes place in our time - Kiev, 2015. Podolsk Kiev police department creates Task Force, which mission is to investigate complex and mysterious crimes. The team consists of four completely different operatives: Major Dikiy, Captain Petrenko, Lieutenant Kovalevsky and Captain Kholodova. Each of them has own story of joining the police as well as methods and approaches to solving problems, that sometimes go beyond the law.
Task Force is headed by Major Dikiy, played by a 35-year-old Ukrainian actor Sergei Strelnikov, famous for the leading role in the TV series "Chapay". Work is the main meaning of his life, and his courage often borders on recklessness. However, Dikiy strongly believes that the Maidan gave Ukraine an opportunity to build a real state of law, where everyone will be equal before the law.
The series will contain stories of both invented and real crimes, committed in the capital
"Main characters have to fight not only with criminals, their own complexes and mysteries, but, above all, the vestiges inside the system, inertia, corruption, nepotism and permissiveness - says creative producer of the series, Vladimir Issat. - And since the action takes place nowadays, naturally, today events and burning recent past affected the storyline of the movie. Along with the Ukrainian police, which acts as a partner, we'll live through all the vicissitudes of today's formation and the upcoming reform of the Interior Ministry".
Series is shot by FILM.UA and will premiere in fall on ICTV.
