Yesterday, Inter TV channel ended broadcast of a 60-episode melodrama "The Hellene" (FILM.UA). The story of complicated relationship between a she-devil Sophia Sereda (Olga Sumskaya) and her provincial daughter-in-law Tanya Kulikova (Olga Grishina) won the audience's heart from the first episode.
The fact that fans of the series are not willing to part with "The Hellen" and waiting for continuation of the story, was mentioned in KP magazine. "Not seeing in the program for the next week their favorite series, readers called the office and asked: what will happen next? Will there be a continuation?" Premiere of the series took place on January 12. First episodes of The Hellene topped TV viewing and made Inter a slot leader. First episodes reached 4 million of viewers with a share of 12.45% and rating of 28.08% among 18+ audience. According to "Media Business" melodrama "The Hellene" topped Google searches among Ukrainian users for the period January 12-18.
For the next seven weeks "The Hellene" firmly held leading position. TV viewing data on key audiences virtually didn't change throughout the period. In particular, on the 19th of February 4+ audience (all Ukraine) reached 5,5 million, share and rating of TV watching were 34.02% and 14.02% respectively. Even more impressive numbers are among 18+ audience (all Ukraine) - share of 35.0% and rating of 15.33%. The last episodes reached 4.3 million.
