We all are used to watch different Latin American soap operas on our TV channels, but everything is going to change. For the first time Ukrainian crime drama series will be shown on Venezuelan TV. For the broadcast of the first season of “The Sniffer”, FILM.UA Distribution signed a contract on transferring rights to the Telearagua channel (Venezuela).
We’re sure that Venezuelan TV viewers will be as excited about our main character, who’s having extraordinary sense of smell, as they were about “Criminal Mastermind”. The first season of “The Sniffer” was a success in Ukraine, Baltic States, Israel, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Bulgaria. Earlier FILM.UA Distribution sold it as a format to the biggest French broadcaster TF1. Also was signed an “all rights” contract for the first season of “The Sniffer” with French «Box Distribution».
TV rights for the first season of “The Sniffer” were sold to Poland (Plus TV channel), Finland (YLE), Vietnam and Macedonia. The second season of “The Sniffer”, which is still in production, caught the interest of France (Pre-sale), Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia (TV rights) and Bulgaria. In addition, they negotiate on selling TV rights to channels in Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Iceland, Australia, Greece and Portugal.
