FILM.UA announces the winners of annual grants

For the third year on a competitive basis FILM.UA defines 3 students from Kyiv National Karpenko-Kary University of Theater, Film and Television, who will receive grants during academic year, which is 35 thousand UAH. 

This year we've received applications from operators, TV, documentary and film director. In all we've wathced about 40 works from 15 applicants. We thank all the participants for their entries.

All works were evaluated by jury selection experts:

• Dmitry Melnik, director Tak Treba Production,
• Andrei Rizvanyuk, CEO FILM.UA,
• Olesya Lukyanenko, creative producer FILM.UA,
• Volodymyr Voitenko, film critic,
• Jaroslav PilunskY, cinematographer,
• Denis Nikitenko, program director, a member of the selection committee at "Molodist" IFF 2006-2013,
• Vadim Khrapachev, composer, member of the selection committee at "Molodist" IFF.

We are pleased to announce the results of the competition.

Grants are awarded to:

Andrey Kotlyar (DOP)
Solomia Tomaschuk (film director)
Michelle Lades (documentary director)

In addition, FILM.UA Faculty offers expert support during the year, help with the filmmaking process, submitting projects to film festivals (if necessary), as well as certificates to attend workshops within Skill Bill programme.  

Additionally, Skill Bill certificates are awarded to the following students:

Gayane Jaghinyan (film director)
Victoria Zhukova (TV director).
