In 2015, "Inter" will show a new version of a classic plot, a 60-episode TV series "Greek woman", co-produced with FILM.UA.

This story is very familiar: Cinderella meets a handsome prince. However, white horse and a beautiful castle complete with crazy relatives and envious ladies-in-waiting. The main character Tanya Kulikova works at a provincial museum and specializes in the art of ancient Greece. Thanks to her passion she meets a handsome, wealthy metropolitan art dealer Gregory and marries him...and here the action starts. Tanya has to deal with his domineering mother, pale sister and intriguante lover.

The story is embodeid by Olga Grishina, she got the role of Tanya, Anton Feoktistov aka Prince the art dealer, Olga Sumskaya is a wicked mother in law, Alain Alymova is the pale sister, and others. There are three directors Igor Zabara, Irina Gromozda and Maria Tkacheva, and the audience will see the whole story through the eyes of Matthew Shulgin, Markiyan Kanyuka and Vyacheslav Rakovsky.

I had a talk with one of the directors Irina Gromozda.

- We started shooting in late August and will complete by December. The thing is that all the actions take place in Summer, so nnow it's necessary to simulate this summer by stripping our actors. Although it's a bit cold (smiles).

- Tell us about the locations?

- Oh, we have about 300 locations! Most of the shooting take place in a two-floor pavilion. Thanks to our art director Vlad Odudenko we managed to gather a lot of different objects. There we have hostels, houses, some other constructions...Well, we also shoot in the city - on the streets, at the restaurants and discos. We shoot only in Kiev, and use FILM.UA pavilions.

- Series is shot by three directors. How do you share all the responsibilities?

- The most experienced of us, Igor Zabara, is responsible for studio shooting. He worked on many television series. Me and Maria Tkacheva are "start-ups". It's my second project, and first for Maria. Therefore Zabara directs interior shooting, Masha shoots exclusively on location, and I handle both. However, in my opinion, the hardest is to shoot on location.

- Tell us about the auditions. How long did it take you to find Olga Grishina?

- Quiet a lot! Of course, the authors didn't want her to be blonde. For us the main criteria was the purity in shot, as it's hard to shoot over 60 episodes of a love story of a girl who became pregnant, then moved, and so on. In principle, it is quite a trivial Cinderella story, but the actress should be "pure", with a provincial look. And not every actress has it. Olya does it good, she is thin, gentle, naive, touching.

- As far as I know, the character of an evil stepmother will be revealed by Olga Sumy. How did she react after learning that will play this role? According to the script she is about 60 years old...

- Oh, that's our favorite moment! The fact is that Olga is a beautiful woman with a wonderful sense of humor. Learning about her role, she laughed and told me how she voiced "The Hobbit" the other day (laughs). Olya is great, I think she can play everything and everyone. Everything she does is interesting.

- Did you have to make up Olga to make her look older?

- We had that idea. And then we realized that the age itself will not work. Now some women in sixty look much cooler than thirty years olds. Her character is also a wealthy woman, who can afford cosmetic procedures.
