This week romantic comedy "Single by contract" came out in theatres. A film about the love between a rising rock star Slava Lebedev (Vaclav Verkhol) and an ordinary girl Lily (Olga Lerman) already wins the hearts of moviegoers in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Georgia and the Baltic States.
But long before the premiere of the best dating movie "Single by contract", the video for "I can see" headed "The main chart of the country" on the channel M1. This song has become the calling card of the picture. Few people know that the soundtrack was written by incredibly talented musicians from the creative union of composers Baker Street studio, and Dmitry Stepanov did the singing for the main character.
"The soundtrack was created just like all the others. We read a creative task and the script. Got inspired and began to think about how it will sound - says the founder of the Baker Street Sound Production Olga Slyozka. - Composers of our studio suggested several options for the film. And then the creative team chose the one that was the best".
According to Olga, composers focused on the Britpop style and in a month time the song was given a corresponding sounding.
Guests at the pre-premiere show in Kiev had a unique opportunity to hear this track live. For the film presentation composers of the Baker Street studio gathered together and sang couple of songs. You can listen to the great music and enjoy the screening of the first Ukrainian romantic comedy "Single by contract" in theaters all over Ukraine.
