Reality show «Jail Birds», co-production by FILM.UA and Ukrainian TV channel ICTV, has entered the top five finalists of C21/Frapa Format Awards in the category Best Competition Reality Format.
This year, 100 formats made the online final and during the event more than 9,000 votes were cast. A final jury of 12 of the world’s most influential formats buyers is now considering which show out of the five finalists in each category will take home an award. Festival receives thousands of votes from all corners of the world, making these awards the most democratic, and due to the scale of voting, fair and above influence!
The awards will be presented on Wednesday October 10 at a gala ceremony from 18.30 to 20.00 at ClubC21 during Mipcom 2012.
«Jail Birds» will have to compete with the formats of the biggest TV market players, as Endemol, Keshet International, Electus International and Sagafilm. Unlike other formats «Jail Birds» brings up very important social issues, and if doesn’t solve the problem on global basis, trying to find a way out of current situation, at least for the participants of the show.
