In the film "Light o'love" Olga Atanasova played Svetlana, bride of Nikita Gorelov (Kirill Zhandarov). Nikita and Svetlana are about to get married when Nikita meets a flirtatious and joyful Leah (Valeria Khodos).
One of the most beautiful scenes in the film was Nikita and Svetlana's wedding. See for yourself.
Olga told us about her real wedding and her character Svetlana.
- Olga, tell me, please, you have recently changed your surname. Was that scary? After all, actor's awareness is a key to success?
- I think that your skills are more important than your name. At some point in life, my mother's maiden name Lukyanenko gave me a good start, but now my new surname Atanasova impresses me more. And to be honest, I like it much more. The change of the surname was painless, and now I even insist that they called me only Atanasova.
- In "Light o'love" you play Svetlana. What is she like?
- I think she is like a stretched nerve. She is very sensitive, and all she does, she does exactly as she feels. She feels that it is bad, so she believes that it is necessary to say that she feels bad. If someone hurt you, you need to respond. She is not rigid. She may be ambitious, but at the same time she's vulnerable. She does those things because she's never been hurt before. She was loved, and then suddenly it ended. Why? Because there was another woman. In any case, I believe that I should justify my character, and I justify it 100%, absolutely all her actions.
- Your character loves Nikita?
- Of course! It's all in the name of love. If she wasn't in love then what's was it for? She truly loved him, otherwise there was no point in marrying him.
- She will love him till the end?
- Unfortunately, no. At the end of this love is destroyed. Svetlana and Nikita are both to blame.
- You know Valeria Khodos since university. Did it unfluence on your work?
I think that a warm relationship is always for good, regardless of what happens on the set. We, unfortunately, have very few scenes together, but it was very interesting, easy and fun to play. The hardest thing for me and Kirill was to play hatred. It was easy to play the "romantic" period. But that was only at the beginning. For me it was always esier to play a good one than a she-devil.
