The war has scattered Ukrainians around the world, and many families are forced to live separately, separated by kilometers and borders. And everyone is living their horror by their own way. Ivan Zabiyaka, an honored Ukrainian railroad worker, is living out his retirement in his native village in the Kharkiv region. But since the beginning of the war, his behavior has become strange.
The grandfather's eccentricities are no longer safe, and now he is facing a trip to prison. But the commander of the local territorial defense unit agrees to let Ivan Andriyovych go out of respect for his past merits and compensation for the destroyed checkpoint, and most importantly, on the condition that he gets out of here forever.
But Ivan Andriyovych has his own plans. And he does not plan to go anywhere.
