Today we are starting Ukrainian-Korean coproduction project dedicated to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and South Korea. In March, on six Ukrainian locations, including FILM.UA Group, a pilot will be filmed; later, work on two 45-minute documentaries will begin. One of them will be dedicated to Ukrainian music and its perception in Asia, and the second one to the development of Ukrainian cinematography, in particular to the work of FILM.UA, the biggest studio in Eastern Europe.
The project is initiated by the Koreans, CABLE TV VOD Corp. And FILM.UA Group provides production and consulting support, and assistance in the development of a creative concept as well as producing a pilot under the aegis of the group has been taken up by Signal Red, our production house.
This cooperation follows agreements achieved during FILM.UA Group’s business travel to Seoul last November, which was initiated by Ukrainian National Council on Television and Radio and its head Yuriy Anatoliyevich Artemenko.
