McDonalds social commercial has finally been aired on television channels: “Accompany the football players UEFA EURO 2012.” Each time at the European Football Championship, the famous football players are accompanied onto the field by children. Each time, these children are chosen for EURO by McDonalds from lines of ordinary schoolchildren. In 2012, the stars of European football will hold hands with and be led onto the field by Ukrainian boys and girls. The commercial for the campaign was filmed at FILM.UA’s sound stage 8. The commercial’s message was to interest kids in sports and outdoor activities.

The commercial’s director was famous Ukrainian Aleksandr Kiriyenko (“Indi,” “Orange Sky”). Behind the camera was laureate of international film festival in San-Sebastian (2002) Sergey Mikhalchuk, who earlier worked with Kiriyenko in the film “Illusion of Fear.” The commercial was produced by company Propaganda House, which specializes in TV commercials and feature films for further broadcast and corporate market. Also participating in the filming process was Sergey Bubka – a several-time pole vaulting world champion, who voices his support for sports activities for kids and their parents.
