15th of April 2011, sound stage 8 of FILM.UA Studio contained a great number of stars. This is hardly surprising, because right after the presentation of the show “Voice of the Nation,” organized by the channel “1+1”, the “star coaches” of the project, Diana Arbenina, Stas Pyeha, Aleksandr Ponomarev, and Ruslan Lyjychko, arrived at FILM.UA for a photo and video shoot. The shoot was being done for the project’s mass promotion campaign, including its outside commercial campaign.
The stars’ spirits were quite high. The fantastic four constantly joked, creating a good working atmosphere for themselves and for the crew.
The coaches were first photographed separately, then were gathered together and asked to show Churchill’s favorite “victory” jest, which is one of the most identifying visual elements of the show.
The show “voice of the nation” is a Ukrainian adaptation of the popular Netherlands “Voice-off” format, acquired and produced by the channel “1+1”, one of the leaders of Ukrainian television broadcasting. The format has been successfully realized in many countries. In Holland, this show once stirred up a big following, beating all previous rating records.
