The season of innovations of the dance show has come to an end, the happy owner of a lot of money and a trip to the U.S. is defined – the only thing to do is to tell what happened on the other side of the screen during a gala concert.

Yesterday from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. one of the pavilions at FILM.UA steadfastly withstood the onslaught of 22 best dancers (according to STB), their partners, as well as guests of the show.

At this year's gala concert were 38 performances. After dancing break bumper with hosts, judges were presented: seductive Yama, reckless Tomilchenko, mysterious Denisova and insightful Poklitaru.

Vlad Yama: “The main feature of this season is that for the first time TOP 20 consisted of 22 participants”.

During the break outside the soundstage I’ve noticed one of the prominent participants of the season Estonian Egert, who stood peacefully smoking a cigarette. Quite unexpectedly, two girls appeared hanging him presents: letters, beautiful boxes, teddy bears...And Tankovic wondered, where Egert stayed after leaving "Everybody Dance!". I think, Egert had no problems with that.

Here I would like to say a few words about hosts and the script. Throughout the show Tankovich and Rebrik stumbled in speech, participants were asked same questions and periodically there were awkward pauses.

I talked to the project manager Oksana Kuzmenko about the script:

- I'll explain. I wrote the script, did not get enough sleep, - took the blame upon herself. - And these questions were made quite deliberately, because we are now seeing many ex-participants after a long period of time. And we want to know how they spent time during this period. I'm sure that people, who were waiting for their performances, were also interested in what they were doing all this time? It is always the most important question when you have not seen a person for a long time. So, yeah - they aren’t that original, but, nevertheless, it’s important for me that each of the participants told what the audience expects from them.

- Oksana, the season ends. What are your impressions? You are happy or upset?

- You guessed it, I have mixed impressions. I'm happy, because it was an absolutely crazy season. I think you've seen our experiments, there were times when it was very scary because we did not know how to do it, and no one knew how it would be. Nevertheless, I am very happy cause we made it. There is a room to grow, it wasn’t perfect, but the most joyous to me that we re-energised the sixth season. This is a great achievement of the team, because we always went through a minefield, and no one knew how it would end. I know that the response to our innovations was not always good, but, frankly, I'm not upset, because the main thing is to keep emotions alive. We know where we made mistakes, and will work on them. I’m upset that it all ends. It's a crazy adrenaline, and it won’t repeat again. I'm working on the show from the second season and have passed all stages - from the journalist to the project manager, but this season impressed me with its originality and unpredictability.

- Castings will begin in February. What will you do until then?

- Oh, I have big plans, but will keep it a secret for now.

- Where else you plan to perform auditions, except for Ukraine?

- Now it is at the negotiation stage, but we wanted to go to Poland. There is a dance project, but we believe that there are still a lot of guys who would like to try it here. Also we'll go back to the Baltics. Perhaps there will expand horizons, will not be limited only by Estonia. But, again, this is at the negotiation stage. Egert is already actively engaged in promotional campaign: whole Tallinn went nuts. Also it was very pleasant when our guest from U.S., DJ Smart, who came after the broadcast and asked whether Americans can participate in the Ukrainian version of "Everybody Dance!". Let's see what happens, but I think it’s great when Americans ask such questions (laughs).

- How long it took to organize a gala concert?

- About a week.

- Is Vladimir Borodyansky here?

- No. He watches us on TV and enjoys (laughs).

- What did he say?

- He often comments, criticizes...When we had episodes with tests, he, in my opinion, was waiting for them with more excitement than we are. We, of course, also went crazy, but after each test he sent us a message: what he liked and what he didn’t, where he was touched, where he laughed. It was very nice that he was watching the life of the project and is not indifferent to what is going on here.

- I would like to summarize the sixth season. Which of those changes that you made were a success and which failed?

- Test themselves were an innovation and succeed. But we have to develop them, to make them more unpredictable, because now we have covered a large volume: elements, and snakes, and unusual concerts - next year will have to smash our heads somehow to surprise the audience. Battles, in my opinion, were brilliant every time - and at the Maidan, and during a marathon, but when we decided to replace the solo for life in the first live show on a battle guys were in a very stressful situation as it was the first live broadcast. And it turned out not that spectacular as at the Maidan, because by that time they have all become friends and morally it was hard for them to compete. Broadcasts with children and stars completely justified themselves. For me it was fun to watch. Stars were great, they were enthusiastic about the project.

- This season turned out ambitious. What were the technical difficulties?

- There were so many difficulties that you can’t imagine! Tests were the hardest as during 20 days 6 times we had to set up stages. Every time we faced unexplored locations: the beach, which we’ve never shot, we have seen it, but we had no such practice! The same with Kovalevka village. And, imagine what it is to build an underwater stage so it didn’t impale itself upon different things. This entire system with fire-jets, it all worked manually. There was an experienced pyrotechnician, whom we absolutely trusted. But still, it's a person! On the one hand, it was good, because he reacted the way guys were moving. On the other hand, he controlled the buttons that could burn dancers with one push.

- Are you satisfied with the ratings?

- Not much. Overall I’m satisfied with the season, but the live shows did upset me. Especially the super final, which in my opinion was very interesting with performances awaited by the whole country...And I still don’t understand why ratings fell on the super final. However, I understand the circumstances in the country now and respect that. But, nevertheless, I would like to think that the interest is not lost.

- Now let's talk about the seventh season. What changes and innovations are planned?

-  I'll think about it tomorrow just like Scarlett O'Hara. In fact, we had so many changes this season. There are some ideas. Most likely we will continue with tests, improve them or change, make new ones. And auditions will also change.

- Have you thought about replacing judges or hosts?

- Yes, we thought of that, but we like our hosts and judges, that every time we change our mind.

- You guys are nominated for "Teletriumph". Do you believe in victory?

- I believe! I believe that Kuryata will receive the award. I demand it actually, because I’ve never met a crazier costume designer, there’s no one that productive. Tell me, where else on television shows you’ve seen such costumes? Nowhere! Because every time he creates something new. And this is the man who can make a masterpiece out of a square of cloth. And he does it in such quantities! I really want Dima to win.

- Your competitors in this category - Natalia Skarzhepa ("Inter") and make-up artists of "Showmustgoon" ("New Channel"). Who are considered the strongest competitors?

- Honestly, I do not know these people, it's hard to say.

Wishing Oksana good luck, I went back to the set - the biggest break in broadcast ended.

The highlight of the evening - the winner of the tenth season of “So you think you can dance” Emi Yakima. She was invited partly because she has Ukrainian roots. But that's all, her speech had to be translated. Judging by the quality of translation, they’ve searched for a simultaneous interpreter in a hurry.

So half-naked girl remained on the scene and listened to the verdict of the TV viewers.

Yana was taken from the scene in a hurry, she was very emotional about her defeat.

Eventually gala concert with 38 performances ended. And everyone who want to take part in the show - castings begin in February 2014.
